Sale-a-Bration is coming to an end. The cards I have to share with you today are simple to make, loaded with happy color, and feature a sentiment from the Special Moments Stamp Set (free during Sale-a-Bration). I shared these card towards the end (at the 39:45 minute mark) of my January 25th Live Online Paper Crafting Class. I had cut these rainbows originally for a set of swap cards (the cards I demonstrated during that live), but realized when starting to assemble my swaps that I had cut them all wrong. I needed to cut them with the paper upside-down. So THESE are the cards I made with the incorrectly cut rainbows.
I’ve included the details below if you’d like to make one or more of these cards yourself. My advice is to make at least four of these cards though. Die-cut four sets of rainbow arches from the different sections of color in the glimmer paper And then mix and match to make more colorful rainbows for each card.

Measurements
Balmy Blue Cardstock
4-1/4” x 11″ scored parallel to short side at 5-1/2”
Rainbow Glimmer Paper
scraps for die-cutting rainbow arches
Basic White Cardstock
3″ x 4-3/4″
Scrap for stamping and punching sentiment cloud
Mother of Pearl Specialty Paper
Scrap for punching cloud
Directions
Stamp sentiment on Basic White scrap. Then punch it out with the Cloud Punch.
Punch another cloud from upside-down Mother of Pearl Paper. This way the cloud will face the correct direction when flipped rightside-up.
Die-cut the rainbow arches. Add them to the front of the card starting with the top one first.
Add the Mother of Pearl cloud with Seal Adhesive so it sits low and to the left. Then add the sentiment cloud with Dimensionals so it sits higher and the right.
Finish the card by adding the inside white layer and some Artistry Blooms Sequins.

1/2″ strip for sentiment piece – white side (length will depend upon where you position the chimpanzee)

Oh my goodness… The February 2022 Safari Celebration Paper Pumpkin kit is so fun! I’ve just finished my first set of alternate projects, and I’m excited to share them with you today!

Do you ever look at card sketches to get the creative juices flowing? Our Stampers With ART Stars group creates around card sketches quite often. This sketch by Maureen Plut is the latest one that inspired us.
I find many sketches just by doing a “Google” search. I also love to save them on my Pinterest board.
I just showed live on YouTube about an hour ago how I used this simple card sketch to create a couple pretty cards with the Flowering Fields Designer Paper, the Tulip Fields Stamp Set, the Layering Circle Dies, the Bough Punch, and the Special Moments Sale-a-Bration Stamp Set. What a perfect sentiment…”Hope your day is just right!” This stamp verse can be found in the Garden Greenhouse Stamp Set. This is a great stamp set if you are a fan of plants and greenery. And paired as a bundled purchase with the coordinating Greenhouse Dies the creativity can be boundless.
I didn’t use the dies in the card that I’m sharing today. But I am looking forward to designing more with these products soon.
My card today is actually quite simple to make. I love the large leaves/stems image and used it alone with no added flowers. There ARE flower images that can be stamped at the top of the stems. But I really think this image can act alone, too. Below is information for helping you recreate this card yourself.

Directions
Stamp with Granny Apple Green ink the large leaves/stems image centered from top to bottom, but off to the right a bit.
Punch the white strip and stamp with Mossy Meadow ink. Punch the leaves from the Granny Apple Green Cardstock scrap. And add to the back of the white strip.
Add the sentiment strip to the Mossy Meadow Cardstock strip. Add to the designer paper strip. Then add to the center of the Silver Metallic Mesh piece.
Add this entire layered piece to the card to create a base for the stamped leaves/stems image.
Then finish by adding a few Rhinestones.

Just wanted to share something a little different today. I had several D-size blocks etched to recognize team members’ achievements for the 2020-21 Stampin’ Up! year which ended September 30, 2021. I actually meant to have them ready to present back in November when the OnStage event was being held. But I didn’t get them done until January! Oops. (I hope they can all forgive me.)

Base Cardstock (Basic Black, Night of Navy, or Magenta Madness)
3” x 3″
New Horizons Designer Paper
2-7/8” x 2-7/8”
Basic White Cardstock
2-7/8” x 2-7/8”
Main Ribbon (Black Glittered Organdy, Denim, or Whisper White Faux Linen Ribbon from the Flowers for Every Season Combo Pack)
Two pieces that measure 13″ each
Secondary Ribbon (Fresh Freesia Open Weave or Polished Pink Open Weave)
13″
Or three strands of 13″ pieces of Misty Moonlight/Silver Baker’s Twine from the Flowers for Every Season Combo Pack
Directions
Adhere the designer paper to the base cardstock.
Open up the box & adhere this against the panel of the box that is connected to the longer end flaps.
Print off (or stamp) a design or message onto the Basic White layer, and adhere this to the outside of the box against the back side of the base cardstock.
Insert the D-size block (or other gift) and close up the box.
Cut one of the main ribbon pieces and the secondary ribbon piece in half down the middle to make two thinner strands. (Leave Misty Moonlight/Silver Baker’s Twine as is.)
Wrap the other main ribbon piece around and start to tie a knot. Before finishing the knot though, zig-zag and lay the extra strands of ribbon within. Finish tying the knot and adjust any of the strands so the loops formed by the zig-zags look like bows and look even. Trim any ends that seem too long.
The New Horizons Designer Paper was a great background choice for these blocks. It’s a very versatile pack of paper and I was glad I had it on hand to make these pretty gifts.
