I recently made a couple sets of cards with the beautiful Symbols of Fortune Suite: one set for some of my achieving team members and one set to gift to those who were in Salt Lake City last week. Both card designs are W-V Fold cards. This photo below is from Stampin’ Up! and shows off the beauty of this suite.
I just shared live on YouTube and on Facebook about an hour ago step-by-step directions for creating this type of fun fold card using products from this suite: the Crane of Fortune Stamp Set, the Good Fortune Dies, and the Symbols of Fortune Specialty Designer Paper. Today I’d like to walk you through the makings of two fun-fold cards. These cards feature the Home & Garden Bundle, so they have a gardening theme. And the sentiments in this stamp recognize the special men in our lives.
Because these two cards have quite a few steps (especially the second one), I created a how-to video rather than writing the directions. (By the way, the Garden Dies would work with the Mini Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine that is on sale this month. You wouldn’t be able to use it with the Timber Embossing Folder on the second card, but there are many other narrow embossing folders that can be used with this smaller machine.)

I learned how to make a Pillar Pop-Up Window Card when Nancy and Kayla from Stamping BAE shared this type of fun-fold card as a make-n-take during our last Stampers With ART online team gathering. They credit the idea for their card from Iced Images.
So I got excited and created a version of this type of card (altering the pillar measurements slightly) with some of the new products that will be debuting in just 5 days (on March 1st) – products from the Waves of the Ocean Collection: the Waves of the Ocean Designer Paper, the Waves of Inspiration Stamp Set, the Waves Dies, and the Waves Rhinestone Jewels.

Oh my goodness… The February 2022 Safari Celebration Paper Pumpkin kit is so fun! I’ve just finished my first set of alternate projects, and I’m excited to share them with you today!

What a perfect sentiment…”Hope your day is just right!” This stamp verse can be found in the Garden Greenhouse Stamp Set. This is a great stamp set if you are a fan of plants and greenery. And paired as a bundled purchase with the coordinating Greenhouse Dies the creativity can be boundless.
I didn’t use the dies in the card that I’m sharing today. But I am looking forward to designing more with these products soon.
My card today is actually quite simple to make. I love the large leaves/stems image and used it alone with no added flowers. There ARE flower images that can be stamped at the top of the stems. But I really think this image can act alone, too. Below is information for helping you recreate this card yourself.

Measurements
Basic White Cardstock
4-1/4” x 11″ scored parallel to short side at 5-1/2”
1/2″ x 3-1/4″
Sunshine & Rainbows Designer Paper
7/8” x 4-1/4”
Mossy Meadow Cardstock
3/4” x 4-1/4”
Granny Apple Green Cardstock
Scrap for punching leaves
Silver Metallic Mesh
4-1/4″
Directions
Stamp with Granny Apple Green ink the large leaves/stems image centered from top to bottom, but off to the right a bit.
Punch the white strip and stamp with Mossy Meadow ink. Punch the leaves from the Granny Apple Green Cardstock scrap. And add to the back of the white strip.
Add the sentiment strip to the Mossy Meadow Cardstock strip. Add to the designer paper strip. Then add to the center of the Silver Metallic Mesh piece.
Add this entire layered piece to the card to create a base for the stamped leaves/stems image.
Then finish by adding a few Rhinestones.
