Today I’d like to walk you through the makings of two fun-fold cards. These cards feature the Home & Garden Bundle, so they have a gardening theme. And the sentiments in this stamp recognize the special men in our lives.
Because these two cards have quite a few steps (especially the second one), I created a how-to video rather than writing the directions. Here is the first card I demonstrated: a Top Flap Fold card.
(By the way, the Garden Dies would work with the Mini Stampin’ Cut & Emboss Machine that is on sale this month. You wouldn’t be able to use it with the Timber Embossing Folder on the second card, but there are many other narrow embossing folders that can be used with this smaller machine.)

- 2-1/8″ x just under 6″ (sorry that I said 2-1/4″ in the video)
- Basic White Cardstock
- 4″ x 5-1/4″

- 2-7/8″ x 2-7/8″
- Heart & Home Designer Paper
- 3-7/8″ x 5-1/8″
- Kraft Paper
- 2″ x 5-1/8″
- Silver Foil
- Scrap for die-cutting metal portion of spade
- Soft Suede Cardstock
- Scrap for die-cutting spade
- Garden Green Cardstock
- Scrap for die-cutting grass
And here is the second one: a Tucked Z-Fold card.
Measurements …
- Basic White Cardstock
- 5-1/4″ x 8″ scored parallel to the short edge at 4″ and 6″
- Scrap for stamping and die-cutting rake and shovel
- Basic Black Cardstock
- 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored parallel to the short edge at 4-1/4″
- Scrap for die-cutting sheers
- Heart & Home Designer Paper
- 4″ x 5-1/4″
- Just Jade Cardstock
- (2) 1/2″ x a little over 4″
- Scrap for die-cutting circle that is at least 2-3/4″ x 2-3/4″
- Silver Foil
- Scrap for die-cutting metal portion of sheers
