Welcome to our All Star Tutorial monthly blog hop for the You’re a Peach Suite! Be ready to be immersed in this fantastic suite with all that we have to share.
Peaches and other stone fruit are favorites with me and my family. Here is a photo of my guys at the Minnesota State Fair this past Sunday at the The Produce Exchange food stand. Luke and I had plums. And Nick and my husband Tim (both wearing the hats) had peaches. (Bummed they were out of nectarines. Those are my absolute favorite!)
Maybe you weren’t drawn to this suite initially because of the peach images. But did you know… by playing around with the ink colors you can turn the images from this Sweet As A Peach Stamp Set into other stone fruit (plums, nectarines, cherries, apricots, etc)?!
A few hours ago I shared live on YouTube step-by-step directions for creating other stone fruit images and this tri-fold card using the Sweet As A Peach Stamp Set, the Peach Dies, a Paper Lattice, some Snowy White Velvet Specialty Paper, the In Good Taste Designer Paper, and the Silver & Clear Epoxy Essentials. And now I’m sharing that video here in my blog post. On July 7th I shared how to make a Four-Panel Pinwheel Tower card. It’s a super popular fun fold card right now – perfect for showing off beautiful designer paper patterns. Well, there is another version of this card that you can also make that has SIX panels. And because Stampin’ Up!’s Designer Paper Sale is coming to an end soon, I thought I’d show you a Six-Panel Pinwheel Tower card today that shows off one of these designer paper pack and an additional Four-Panel Pinwheel Tower card featuring another pack.

Here is the one with six panels. As long as you watch my how-to video in my July 7th post and then prepare the materials according to the measurements below, you should have no problem adapting and assembling this six-panel version.

Tips…
Stamp the white cardstock BEFORE adhering it to the card.
Punch extra leaves from the leftover sections of the gold foil ephemera pack sheets.
Add the ephemera pack gold foil leaves and punched leaves with Glue Dots and by tucking them into the creases.
This card when folded flat fits into a medium size A2 envelope. Here is what you see in each section.

Tips…
To get the multi-colored peaches, ink the stamp in Pale Papaya first. Then use Sponge Daubers directly to the stamp image to add Mango Melody and Calypso Coral inks.
The stamped peaches are added with Dimensionals. The leaves are added with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
When adding the rhinestones, keep them as far left as you can to decrease the amount of bulk. Do not add them towards the center where most of the paper and cardstock layers come together.
Here is what you see in each section of this peach card. (FYI, the supplies below do not include A4 cardstock and coordinating envelopes to go with these metric measurements since we don’t carry that in the US.)

I’m sharing a couple cards with you today that look a bit similar. I made the second one (the spinner card) first. And then I made this non-spinner simpler version (which I’m sharing first). This is a very easy card to make. I made multiples so I could send them to achieving team members.

Tips
Die-cut a double leaf and two single leaves with the Give It a Whirl dies to create the look of a branch.
Attach the sentiment strip and the Calypso Coral layer with Dimensionals.
I really like the Early Espresso as the base layer on the card above and wish I would’ve done that with the spinner card (below). But this spinner card was the one I started assembling in just a couple hours time when I first got my Give It a Whirl dies…I wanted to have a quick sample of how to use the dies when I featured this die set in my box opening event with my demonstrator group the day my order arrived. It didn’t turn out bad. In fact, the card is quite cute. And I love the way the sentiments from the Sweet As a Peach stamp set fit the window so well. I guess I would just change the card base to bring in a bit more Early Espresso color. Do you agree?
The Give It a Whirl dies allow you to spin the circular layer underneath and show different things through the window. For this card I used three different sentiments in the You’re a Peach stamp set. So these next three photos show the three different views.

Tips
Attach designer paper to the white before die-cutting. Then die-cut the rectangular window.
Attach top layer of the spinner to the spinner layer with a brad.
Spin the spinner and stamp sentiments. Then add this whole layered section to the front of the card using Dimensionals in the four corners.
Die-cut a double leaf and two single leaves with the Give It a Whirl dies to create the look of a branch. (I also did this for the inside of the card (not shown).
