On July 7th I shared how to make a Four-Panel Pinwheel Tower card. It’s a super popular fun fold card right now – perfect for showing off beautiful designer paper patterns. Well, there is another version of this card that you can also make that has SIX panels. And because Stampin’ Up!’s Designer Paper Sale is coming to an end soon, I thought I’d show you a Six-Panel Pinwheel Tower card today that shows off one of these designer paper pack and an additional Four-Panel Pinwheel Tower card featuring another pack.
Products I used… See below for a complete list of products linked to where you can find them in my online store.
Here is the one with six panels. As long as you watch my how-to video in my July 7th post and then prepare the materials according to the measurements below, you should have no problem adapting and assembling this six-panel version.
Measurements for the 6-Panel…
- Misty Moonlight Cardstock
- Six pieces… 2-3/8” x 4-1/4”
- Basic White Cardstock
- Six pieces… 1-3/8” x 4”
- Sweet Symmetry Designer Paper (tower design)
- 4-1/4” x 5” scored parallel to the short side at 3/4″, 1-1/2″, 2-1/4″, 3″, 3-3/4″ and 4-1/2″
- Sweet Symmetry Designer Paper (design #1)
- Three pieces… 2-1/8” x 4”
- Sweet Symmetry Designer Paper (design #2)
- Three pieces… 2-1/8” x 4”
Tips…
- Stamp the white cardstock BEFORE adhering it to the card.
- Punch extra leaves from the leftover sections of the gold foil ephemera pack sheets.
- Add the ephemera pack gold foil leaves and punched leaves with Glue Dots and by tucking them into the creases.
This card when folded flat fits into a medium size A2 envelope. Here is what you see in each section.
Cute, huh?
Here is the one with four panels that actually was my A4 (metric version) that I had shared unfinished in my how-to video in my July 7th post. So I’m sharing the metric measurements below. But feel free to refer back to my July 7th post if you want to adapt those measurements to inches and US letter size cardstock.
Measurements for the 4-Panel…
- Basic White Cardstock
- Two pieces… 7.4 cm x 10.5 cm
- Scraps for punching four Everyday Label pieces
- Scraps for stamping and die-cutting peaches and leaves
- Balmy Blue Cardstock
- Two pieces… 7.4 cm x 10.5 cm
- You’re a Peach Designer Paper (design #1)
- Two pieces… 4.3 cm x 9.9 cm
- You’re a Peach Designer Paper (design #2)
- Two pieces… 4.3 cm x 9.9 cm
- You’re a Peach Designer Paper (tower design)
- 5 cm x 11 cm scored parallel to the short side at 2.5 cm, 5 cm, 7.5 cm & 10 cm
- You’re a Peach Designer Paper (design #3)
- Two pieces… 6.8 cm x 9.9 cm
- You’re a Peach Designer Paper (design #4)
- Two pieces… 6.8 cm x 9.9 cm
Tips…
- To get the multi-colored peaches, ink the stamp in Pale Papaya first. Then use Sponge Daubers directly to the stamp image to add Mango Melody and Calypso Coral inks.
- The stamped peaches are added with Dimensionals. The leaves are added with Multipurpose Liquid Glue.
- When adding the rhinestones, keep them as far left as you can to decrease the amount of bulk. Do not add them towards the center where most of the paper and cardstock layers come together.
Here is what you see in each section of this peach card. (FYI, the supplies below do not include A4 cardstock and coordinating envelopes to go with these metric measurements since we don’t carry that in the US.)

This is a great Card. Awesome!!! So many other uses too. One is you could use it for a menu in the middle of the table. Maybe raised up in a center piece on a lazy susan.
Ooo!!! Excellent idea!!!
Love it! Gonna try it out, thanks!
Yay! Thank you Geri!
I”ve cut the pieces as indicated for the 6 panel tower. Did I do something wrong? Seems that the height needs to be 5 1/2 rather than 4 1/4 to fit the A2 envelope. Haven’t glued yet but it’s short! -????
Sorry for the delay in responding Billie. Did you ever figure out what you did wrong? The measurements are correct. Be sure to watch the video. That will help you understand the dimensions.
