Last weekend at a demonstrator event put on by my upline Susan Campfield, my sister demonstrator Carol Rosengren shared a beautiful fun-fold card she made using the Magnolia Lane designer paper and the Good Morning Magnolia bundle.
As I watched her demonstrate, I realized that I may have never shared any shutter fold cards here on my blog before! Which surprised me since fun-folds are right up my alley. So I immediately started creating when I got home that day, and I came up with four other versions of her card.
One of them I shared from start to finish in my Wednesday, August 28th Online Paper Crafting Class on Facebook. I then uploaded the recorded version of my Facebook Live video to my YouTube channel (since I know not everyone is ON Facebook). Be sure to watch the video (you can just click on this image below if you are already on my blog), scroll through the close-up photos, check out the products list at the bottom of my post, and then let me know if you have any questions.
I hope you enjoyed the cards I shared in this video. Below are the updated measurements. And further down are close-up photos of all the cards I shared.

Love this card. Ty Rachel
Thanks so much Jo-Anne!
Beautiful cards! Thank you for sharing the video to make them!
Yay! Absolutely. (Wish I would’ve remembered where to cut on the shutters initially though. LOL)
Hi! Thanks for this video and all the measurements! You make it all very understandable and easy. I know the score lines on the shutter mechanism are not at 1/2” per the initial written instructions on the video (you kindly corrected that to 3/8” while speaking), but the instructions above state 3/4”.
Is 3/4” correct? Thank you so much!
OOOPS! Thanks for catching that Lucinda! And thank you for your kind words.
This is the first shutter card to tempt me. Going to my room and try it!
Yay!!! Thanks Lynndorian.
Watching the replay. Can’t wait to make one. Have not made this type before.
😀 Best wishes and have fun! It’s a fairly easy card to make.
so cute your alternate to Sept. PP JUST LOVED THEM.
Aww…thank you Janet. I’m so glad.
