Today I am excited to share with you how to emboss our mini gable boxes with ANY embossing folder AND ways to alter these boxes to get different treat box looks.
I shared three fun gable box ideas and shared the step by steps for making one of them in my latest Facebook Live broadcast this past Wednesday. My boys were in the video this time and helped me to catch comments and questions since I often miss many important ones when recording on my own. I then uploaded the recored version of this video to my YouTube channel (since I know not everyone is ON Facebook). Be sure to watch the video (you can just click on this image below if you are already on my blog), check out the measurements below for the “huge thanks rhinoceros treat box” I demonstrated, and then let me know if you have any questions.
(By the way, the pencils given as prizes at the end of the video contain colors that can be found in the full watercolor pencil set in the supply list below.)
Here are the measurements you’ll need if you plan to recreate the rhino treat box I made in the video.

Here are a few more close-up photos of this box. (I’ll share close-ups of the red and white box in an upcoming post. And you can click here to see close-ups of the silver mini gable box with the floral embossed image on the front.)
These cookies were a little TOO big as they were busting the box open on the seam. LOL
If you ARE on Facebook, I invite you to “like” then “follow” my page so you can get updates when I share and when I go live. Normally that is every Wednesday afternoon at 2 PM Central Time. But summer is here now, so I’m switching to every other week on Wednesday mornings at 10 AM Central Time. My next broadcast will be June 27th.
I hope you enjoyed what I had to share today. Thanks for stopping by!
