Yay! It’s time again to see lots of alternate Paper Pumpkin kit ideas!
#APaperPumpkinThing
Today is the day where a creative team of us Stampin’ Up!® demonstrators bring to you our special “A Paper Pumpkin Thing” blog hop. See what I have to share, then check out all the other blogs in the hop to see additional creative alternate paper crafting project ideas that we each came up with using the contents of the May 2018 “Manly Moments” Paper Pumpkin kit. To follow the hop, simply scroll down to click on the names of other participants in the hop to see other creative projects.
This month’s kit is very handsome and masculine. Click here to see the May kit video put out by Stampin’ Up! where you can view how to make these cards and envelopes as intended.
I decided to put a delicate, feminine twist on this kit and show you the anniversary card and matching gable gift box I created for the Facebook section of the Stampin’ Up! monthly subscriber newsletter. And then I made a mini photo album from the envelopes to complete the project set.
Measurements/Tips/Directions:
- Silver Metallic-Edge Ribbon:
- 20″ for the card
- 18″ for the album
- Mossy Meadow Cardstock:
- 2 pieces that are 3-1/2″ x 3″
- 2 pieces that are 2″ x 3″
- envelope insert pieces (cut from card bases from the kit):
- 3 pieces that are 4-1/8″ x 5-1/2″
Products: See below for a full list of extra supplies I used linked to where you can find them in my online store.
Attach the badge piece to the outside of one of the envelope flaps. Then emboss this, the front of the card, another badge, and the front of the unassembled, flattened gable box.
For the mini album…Connect all the envelopes together so the main envelope ends up on the end. Then attach the separate embossed badge to the inside flap of the main envelope so it’s directly on the backside of the other badge.
Stamp the banners. Attach one over the main outside badge per directions in the kit – with dimensionals. Attach the other three on the inserts as shown – the left end of each wrapped to the back. Put glue dots under the left ends of the banner fronts. Then fold the creases of the right ends.
Attach the Mossy Meadow photo mats with SNAIL Adhesive.
Add all the sequins using the Fine Tip Glue. And allow to dry.
Tie on the ribbon to keep the mini album shut. To open, just curve the album a bit and slide off the ribbon. To close, just curve it again and slide the ribbon back on.
For the gable box…Assemble the embossed box. Attach a section of silver & white sticker strip (from the kit scraps) to the top of the handles (both handles – front and back).
Put a gift inside wrapped with the kit’s blue tissue paper.
Add all the sequins using the Fine Tip Glue. And allow to dry.
For the card…Tie on the ribbon. Stamp the silver label and attach with mini dimensionals.
Add all the sequins using the Fine Tip Glue. And allow to dry.
I’ve already shared several of my other creations using the contents of this kit in a couple past posts. So I invite you to check out those projects as well:
This hop will definitely inspire your creativity!
