I love the new Sending Sunshine Stamp Set. It’s one of those stamp sets that creates gorgeous cards without needing much more. Gorgeous images, right?!

I had fun assembling some scenes from these images on small 2-3/4″ x 2-3/4″ pieces of cardstock. Then after making a few and looking at all the stamped imagery and sentiments, I realized how awesome these would be for miniature RAK cards (“random acts of kindness” cards)!

Do you remember the June 2019 Paper Pumpkin kit? It was ALL about this concept – making mini cards to bring with you and leave for people who brighten your day. I LOVED that kit and used up all my RAK cards from it quickly. So you could say that this June kit inspired me, because now I’m excited about mass producing these Sending Sunshine mini cards and having a bunch on hand for leaving with tips for our take out food, for my UPS and USPS guys, and for so many more that I appreciate so much so often.

I just showed live on YouTube how to make these fun RAK cards. Then I shared that video here in my blog post. Measurements per card…

• Shimmery White Cardstock (or Whisper White)
  • 2-3/4” x 2-3/4”
• Brushed Metallic Cardstock (or coordinating colored cardstock – Pretty Peacock, Granny Apple Green, or Basic Black)
  • 3”x 6” scored parallel to short end at 3”

Here are close-up photos.

I love these the most stamped on Shimmery White Cardstock and mounted on the Brushed Metallic Cardstock card bases.

But they also look great stamped on Whisper White Cardstock and mounted on coordinating colored cardstock card bases. But then be sure sure to add another piece of 2-3/4″ x 2-3/4″ Whisper White on the inside.

The difference in the white cardstock is hard to see unless you are close up.

You may even want to stamp your envelopes to match.

And if you decide to purchase the acetate card boxes, you can either use them for storing and transporting all your RAK cards/envelopes or you can use them for gifting – insert one card and some treats in each.
