Welcome to the April 2019 Greek Isles Achievers Blog Hop! Follow along and check out all the other blogs in the hop (click on the names of other participants in the list below my signature) so you can see some fabulous cards and projects created by other demonstrators who also earned the Stampin’ Up!® Greek Isles incentive trip that will take place this July 2019. This month’s hop features peeks of the upcoming 2019-20 Annual Catalog.
One of the perks of being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator is being able to order products early. And those that attend OnStage (Stampin’ Up!’s convention) events get to order even earlier.
Many of us just returned from the April 2019 OnStage where the new products from the 2019-20 Annual Catalog were revealed. I overnighted my preorder, and it just arrived 6 hours ago. SO FUN!!!
I haven’t had a lot of time to play with much it yet, but I finished my make-n-takes with some extra new products we were gifted at OnStage. Here are images of the make-n-takes the way we were supposed to make them.
I only did two as intended: the bird’s nest card from the upcoming May Paper Pumpkin kit & the birds on a branch card from the Free As A Bird Stamp Set and Bird Ballad Designer Paper. So pretty, right?!
Because of the suggestion from Amanda Martin while we were working on these cards at OnStage, I punched out a section of this Bird Ballad Designer Paper before finishing my card above.
Then I brought it home and added it to a Whisper White card base along with the pink flowers from the other make-n-take card which I altered a LOT. Both of these cards below used the supplies from the Perennial Essence Suite make-n-take: the Floral Essence Stamp Set, the Perennial Flower Punch, the Perennial Essence Designer Paper, the Perennial Essence Vellum, and the Perennial Essence Floral Centers.
I didn’t do the next make-n-take as is either, because I received the It Starts With Art Stamp Set as a product gift. And someone at my table (Amanda?) gave me their make-n-take packet (so I had an extra pieces). That fun Black Glittered Organdy Ribbon is carrying over into the new catalog. So I used that along with the Follow Your Art Designer Paper, the It Starts With Art Stamp Set, a little extra cardstock, and Rhinestones to complete these two cards. Gotta love that sentiment: “Follow your art.”
These last two I made with the make-n-takes supplies from the Come Sail Away Suite and a little extra cardstock: a Crumb Cake card base and some Basic Black. The Sailing Home Stamp Set is amazing and includes some wonderful sentiments. I have a feeling it will be pretty popular. The Sail Away Trinkets are adorable. And the Come Sail Away Designer Paper is both beautiful AND handsome!
I shared several photos including product and sample display boards yesterday, on my April 15th post. But here are a few more photos from OnStage April 2019. It truly IS an amazing experience to be at one of these events!
Besides all the ideas with new products that we get to create with, that are on display, and that are demonstrated…
…we get to swap cards, receive training and inspiration from presentations, take home prizes and gifts (see yesterday’s photos to see what I took home),…
…we celebrate accomplishments…
(Kim Peck and I walk across stage to celebrate our $700,000 milestones. And below Dena Rekow, Susie Wood and LeeAnn Greff walk across stage to celebrate their $1,000,000 milestones. Amazing!!)
…and we get to connect with friends – old and new.
These gals all helped with Check-In.
Rachel Durtschi and I teamed up to check in demonstrators before OnStage began.
Here I am with my dear friend, Mary Haugen, fellow demonstrator and co-owner of Stamp-n-Storage.
You can’t help but smile when you are around this bunch. In the photo with me are Kelly Acheson, Dena Rekow, Susan Campfield and Barb Mullikin.
Susan and I got to visit briefly with our friend BJ Peters (my fellow Demonstrator Council Member for the Mountain West Midwest North Region).
I met a demonstrator from Germany (here also visiting family), Katharina Pollak.
These are three wonderful team members of mine: Joann Knutson, Vicki Bibeau, and Julie Haugen.
And these gals (Vicki Spicer, Kayla Cory, Nancy Forsberg, and Mary Marohl) are some of my other wonderful team members. You can click here to see the video of new products that Kayla made.
I’m looking forward to the next one! Not sure which location I’ll be attending (the live 3-day event not listed is in Dortmund, Germany), but I’ve marked my calendar. Would you like to join me?!
I hope I inspired your creativity and you enjoyed what I shared.
I’m excited that I get to dive into my order that arrived today and create even more! Preorders from the 2019-20 Annual Catalog for ALL demonstrators (current and new) begins May 2nd. And ordering for everyone starts June 4th.

ANNUAL CATALOG NEWS
Due to recent supplier issues (and other factors), Stampin’ Up! will no longer be carrying the current die-cutting machine and trimmer: The Big Shot and Stampin’ Trimmer are retiring. These changes are giving Stampin’ Up! the opportunity to research and explore replacement options. But there will be a gap when we do not have a trimmer or die-cutting machine available. You will not see these items in the upcoming 2019-20 Annual Catalog that debuts June 4, 2019. Click here for more information.
Adorable cards Rachel! Thanks for taking part in the Greek Isles Blog Hop this month.
Thanks Kylie. Didn’t have much time to play with my stuff before the hop, so the M&T’s had to do. LOL
