Sorry I haven’t blogged in a few days. We are in the midst of a huge garage sale. And I have 20+ crafters that contributed to the sale. We’ve sold a lot, but it is time consuming to say the least. And in the evening after the sale is closed down for the day, we have to make sure all the earnings for each crafter total up and equal the money in the till.
It’s a 24/7 event during the days of the event and it takes hours of prep in the days leading up, but it’s so fun to see everyone benefit: shoppers get great deals and sellers can purge items they won’t be using anymore. It’s quite fun!
With my busy first half of June (the product shares and this sale), I had very little time to put together birthday cards for my team members with June birthdays. So I got smart and took out my Delightfully Detailed Memories & More Card Pack and my Memories & More Cards & Envelopes. Then I designed and put together two of each of these cards – 10 cards in just a few short hours.

Here are a few close up photos of each of them.
With this first one I used a 4″ x 6″ M&M card (the black with the speckles) and a 3″ x 4″ M&M card (the white with the watercolor wash along the edges) for the background layers. Then I added a scallop circle sticker and a label sticker that I stamped, trimmed and embellished with ribbon and a rhinestone.
This second card has a 4″ x 6″ M&M card on the base (tied with some pretty copper-edged Coastal Cabana Tea Room Ribbon) that says “colllect moments not things” in white script lettering. I covered most of the lettering so that only a little bit peeked out and looked like a white looping design. Before adding the “Let’s Celebrate Today” 4″ x 3″ M&M card on top, I added loops of Copper Thread peeking out along the right edge AND a couple strips from another 3″ x 4″ M&M card to the top and bottom of this sentiment card.
This was the easiest card to put together. I made it with two 4″ x 6″ M&M cards from the pack. I trimmed a one-inch section off the top and bottom of the one with the “happy birthday” sentiment and added ruffled ribbon underneath before adhering it to the card with Dimensionals. A rhinestone accents the letter i.
Oh! The scraps didn’t go to waste. I used those 1″ x 6″ black strips for the last card.
This fourth card was put together with just two 4″ x 3″ M&M cards layered on top of each other, a sticker from the pack up on Dimensionals and some rhinestones. To attach the black laser-cut card to the Blackberry Bliss watercolor washed card, sponge on some Multipurpose Liquid Glue on the back side of the laser-cut card, stick it onto the slightly larger watercolor wash card, and trim the excess.
I added the two 1″ x 6″ black strips (scraps from the 3rd card) to the floral patterned 4″ x 6″ M&M card for this last card design. I then covered up the seam by wrapping and tying the card with the Silver Metallic-Edge Ribbon. Finally I added a stamped sticker for the sentiment and embellished it with a simple, single rhinestone.
