Today I am sharing a super simple greeting card that I made using our fun embossing paste and a beautiful image from the Tuscan Vineyard stamp set.
If you haven’t used this embossing paste product yet, watch this video from Stampin’ Up! It’s really not difficult to apply at all.
Measurements:
- Sahara Sand Cardstock: 8-1/2″ x 5-1/2″ folded in half for the card base
- Whisper White Cardstock: 4″ x 5-1/4″ for the inside…and a 3″ x 4″ scrap for stamping and die-cutting the oval
- Fresh Fig 1/8″ Sheer Ribbon: ~6″
Directions:
- Add embossing paste bricks to portions of the card base. Allow to dry.
- Stamp the image onto the Whisper White scrap piece and die-cut with the coordinating oval die (2-3/8″ x 3-1/4″).
- Adhere a piece of doily so it’s peeking out the lower left side.
- Attach the oval image to the front of the card in the lower right corner. Trim off any excess extending beyond the card base.
- Tie a small bow and attach it with a Glue Dot.
I didn’t stamp any message on the inside of mine. I wasn’t sure if I wanted to use it for a birthday or just a simple “thinking of you” note card.
