In early February, several in my team gathered on Zoom for an online creative event. Lisa Marshall put together some sample cards sharing variations of a Front Step Fun Fold Card (also known as the Double Easel Fold Card). I walked the group through a series of verbal/written clues (mystery stamping) to see if they could create this same base fold using their own products they had on hand. And then I was supposed to share my finished samples that Lisa had created. But I forgot because everyone else was holding up and sharing theirs. I guess I was so excited to see what each participant made!

So today I’m going to show you Lisa’s fabulous creations and three other version of this fun fold card that I made. (I already shared them during today’s Live Online Paper Crafting Class on Youtube.) One is a variation of Lisa’s but using different papers and colors. I have several photos below of the this one including some photos I took while putting it together. Another one features parts and pieces of the Celebrate Spring Paper Pumpkin kit along with stamps and dies from the Springtime Scenes Bundle. And the third is created with the Homemade Sweetness Designer Paper and Filled With Sweetness Stamp Set and Dies.

I put a layer of Adhesive Sheet across the back of the Pretty Peacock layer before die-cutting so the whole back side would be sticky.

The ribbon (though you can’t tell in this photo) is wrapped from the back to the front. The two ends are just stuck down in the front with adhesive. So there is no bow or knot. I then took an extra two inch piece, folded it, and added it under the end of the sentiment strip.

I also shared in the video my finished wreath card that I started creating in last week’s Live (around the 55-1/2 minute mark). I’m not sure when the Stampin’ Positioner tool will be made available to all. But hopefully we won’t have to wait too long. There are so many advantages to owning it!

And lastly I just want to remind you that with the new collection of In Colors debuting soon, we are saying goodbye to the outgoing 2024-2026 In Colors: Pretty In Pink, Peach Pie, Shy Shamrock, Summer Splash, and Petunia Pop. My guess is that items in these colors will start to sell out soon.
