I’ve had so much fun making those cute Octagon Star Boxes (see the ones I shared on October 23rd and October 31st) that I played around with some math and came up with a larger size. I’m calling them Grand Octagon Star Boxes.
And today I’d like to share with you step-by-step directions for creating these larger boxes using beautiful current products from Stampin’ Up!®: Brightest Glow & Celebrating You stamp sets, Labels Aglow dies, and Lights Aglow and Texture Chic designer papers. You can watch my how-to video by clicking on this image below if you are already on my blog post or by clicking here to view it directly on YouTube. Then scroll through the close-up photos that follow, check out the measurements & products list below, and then let me know if you have any questions.
I hope you enjoyed what I shared in this video. Below are measurements, close-up photos, and a product list for what I demonstrated. (Please subscribe to my YouTube channel or tune into my events on my Facebook Page so you can get updates when I share and go live).
Products I used… See below for a complete list of products linked to where you can find them in my online store.

Love, Love, Love these! I made the small one first because I didn’t have any 12×12 paper, then I got some of the packs of 12×12 and made a few of the large ones. Because I don’t keep much 12×12, I made one with a full sheet of 8.5×11 and the measurements are just a little different. I didn’t see where you had those measurements anywhere but would be glad to provide if you don’t already have them online. For people like me that want a bit larger box but don’t have 12×12 cardstock. The sides of the box are about 3.5″ tall, so about half as tall.
Sounds wonderful! Thank you for being willing to share. ❤️ And I’m glad what I shared inspired you.
