Here is a photo of the intended projects from this month’s kit: 8 full-size cards (5-1/2″ x 4-1/4″) and a sheet of stickers for decorating and gifting the box.

The June 2020 Box of Sunshine Paper Pumpkin Kit. - Stampin’ Up!® - Stamp Your Art Out! www.stampyourartout.com

I’ve already shared a few other alternate projects using the contents of this kit on June 20th.

  • Three Magnetic Bookmarks
  • A Vertical Center Step Card
  • A 12×12 Scrapbook Page Layout
  • And Three Gift Boxes (one made from a card base from the kit)

CLICK HERE to check them out for more ideas.

Today I have three greeting cards ALL made from one beautiful reddish/yellowish card base from the kit, Whisper White Cardstock, Basic Black Cardstock, images from the kit’s stamp set paired with images from the Painted Poppies Stamp Set, Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder, and Gold Foil Sheets.

Products I used for these cards… See below for a complete list of extra products I used linked to where you can find them in my online store.

This first one used three strips of that beautiful card base along with the non-printed half (for the inside of the card).

Measurements…

  • Basic Black Cardstock
    • 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ scored parallel to short side at 4-1/4″ and folded in half
  • Reddish/yellowish card base from the kit
    • 4″ x 5-1/4″ from the white half for the layer inside the card
    • 1-3/16″ x 5-1/2″ section cut into the following strips
      • 5/16″ x 5-1/2″
      • 3/8″ x 5-1/2″
      • 1/2″ x 5-1/2″

Tips…

  • Stamp and emboss the flowers so the bottom of the image is about 1-3/4″ from the bottom of the card front.

  • After embossing the sentiment piece and the sentiment on the inside white layer, assemble the card starting with the colorful strips first (adding top to bottom and flipping the middle one the opposite way). The outside sentiment piece was added with Mini Dimensionals from the kit.
  • Finish up by accenting with sequins.
