Remember the cards I shared on January 16th that I put together with the new Mini Trimmer? Well there was one that I showed in that video that I’ve been meaning to photograph and share with you with close-up photos. And yay!! I also have a printable tutorial for it.

It was so fun to make, and it inspired the cards that I featured that day. Here’s the video from that post. You can see this card at around the 14 minute mark. (You can just click on the image below if you are already on my blog.)

I’ve been making several of these, and they are currently the welcome card I am sending to each new team member joining our Stampers With ART group right now.

Here are the details if you wish to recreate it…

Measurements

• Grapefruit Grove Cardstock: 8” x 4-1/4” scored parallel to the short side at 5-1/2”
• Pretty Peacock Cardstock: 3-1/4” x 4-1/2”
• Whisper White Cardstock: 3” x 4-1/4”
• Coastal Cabana Cardstock: 3” x 4-1/4”
• Pineapple Punch Cardstock: Scrap for die-cutting sunshine
• Lily Impressions Designer Paper: 3” x 3”
• Pineapple Punch 1/8” Grosgrain Ribbon: 12”

Directions

• Keep Grapefruit Grove card base folded and emboss. Stamp sentiment onto Whisper White layer. And attach centered on the inside of the card.
• Die-cut sunshine. Adhere designer paper to bottom portion of Coastal Cabana cardstock. Then add this layer to the Pretty Peacock piece.
• Wrap and tie on ribbon. Trim ends of ribbon if needed. Add sunshine with a Mini Dimensional and add rhinestone eyes.
• Add this layered piece to the front of the card with Tear & Tape Adhesive making sure adhesive is only on the top of the back portion.
