Happy Independence Day!
I’m up at the my parents’ cabin with my two boys celebrating the 4th of July US holiday with family. My husband, Tim is at home though. We miss him. He couldn’t take any more vacation days right now with our Stampin’ Up! incentive trip, our Alaskan cruise just a couple weeks away. And we would MUCH rather he take his vacation days for that. 😉
The forecast was calling for rainy days, but so far we’ve enjoyed two full days of nice weather. I haven’t convinced Nick to join us down at the lake. He’s still healing from the broken knee and doesn’t want to just sit and watch everyone have fun in the water. But Luke is having a great time in the water with cousin, Robbie. And my wonderful parents have been entertaining Nick. Yesterday Grandpa took Nicholas fishing and Grandma played board games with him.
I received my June swap cards from my monthly swap group about a week ago, so I thought I would share a few of them today. The cards I made as my contribution to the June swap were the Dandelion Landscape Easel Cards that I shared on June 30th. Below are six of the 13 swap cards I received. (I haven’t photographed the other 7 yet, so I’ll have to share them later.)
The talented demonstrator that made each card is named in the photo. These all feature new products from the 2018-19 Annual Catalog that debuted June 1st. I wish I could give you a supply list for each card, but that would take a bit of time to contact everyone who made each card. So instead I’ll just mention the stamp sets that are featured.
Tricia used the Enjoy Life set from page 58.
Sandy used the Painted Glass set on page 165. And I need to point out the beautiful Petal Promenade designer paper background since this paper pack is one of the 10 sets being offered in the BUY 3, GET ONE FREE promotion happening this month.
Oh! And Denise’s card also features a paper pack in that special: Twinkle Twinkle. Her stamp set Little Elephant is also offered as a bundle with the coordinating punch for a 10% savings on page 91.
Julie used Dandelion Wishes, one of my most FAVORITE new sets (found on page 118).
And look at this fun fold! Cindy made this card with the Love What You Do set on page 177.
This last card with images from the Rooted In Nature set (found on page 143) by Brenda Cardinal shows off how stunning just basic “ink, paper and stamps” (the 3 basics) can be.
I wish you a safe and happy 4th of July! Thanks for visiting today.

Rachel, I am in awe of Brenda’s sunset stripes! Do you know how she created them? I would love to know her technique. It’s absolutely beautiful! Thanks for sharing. Have a wonderful AK trip. I dream of one day qualifying for an incentive trip!
Keep aiming for it! Thanks for the well wishes, Karen.
I believe Brenda used the baby wipe technique…put ink on the baby wipe and swipe across the cardstock. (She used Shimmery White.)
Beautiful cards. Thanks for sharing. Have fun and be safe. Happy Fourth.
Thanks Susan! You too. 🙂
