I was on Pinterest and found a beautiful card by Krista Thomas that I HAD to use for my Stamp-A-Stack card event last week. This is the last of my 5 sets of Stamp-A-Stack cards that I have been sharing with you.
And here is Krista's card that I got the idea from. Thanks, Krista!
I added the words on a separate layer on my cards – didn't want my class attendees to stamp directly onto their beautiful rose backgrounds in case their word images didn't stamp clearly or the stamp slipped. And the middle layer on my cards is Basic Black instead of Mossy Meadow. It is from these black layers that we cut our rose dies. A great way to make the most of the cardstock!
I held down my stencils (the roses and leaves that I had die-cut) very still while I sponged on the So Saffron (yellow) and Pear Pizzazz (green) inks. Sponging in a circular motion creates a softer look than just pouncing on the color.
By the way, I've listed all the products I used at the bottom of this post. And all products are linked to my online store so you can learn more about them and shop if you'd like.
The Rose Wonder stamp set that coordinates with the Rose Garden thinlits has so many beautiful fonts and phrases.
Here are the measurements for each card I made:
- Pear Pizzazz cardstock: 5-1/2" x 4-1/4"
- Basic Black cardstock: 5-3/8" x 4-1/8" (Remember to die-cut the rose and leaves from this piece before layering between the green and white cardstock.)
- Whisper White cardstock: 5-1/4" x 8" (folded in half for the card base) and 1-1/2" x 3" scrap
Thanks for visiting today! By the way tomorrow afternoon I will be participating in another Mediterranean (Grand Vacation) Achievers Blog Hop with some very talented demonstrators from around the world. I invite you to come see all the fabulous creations that will be shared.

What beautiful cards! I bought the stamps especially for the sentiments and the dies – well, because one should always have matching dies. These cards have changed my mind! They will come out to play tomorrow!
Yippee! Hope you are finding time to play with them. I love the dies (and the stamps)! The artist at Stampin’ Up! did a really great job designing these.
