2-page 12×12 scrapbook spread
Project Life page pieces
A festive wine bottle tag
And the coup de grace,…
80 Christmas cards with one kit!
You'll need one full November 2014 Paper Pumpkin kit, 20 sheets of Whisper White and 18 sheets of Crumb Cake 8.5"x11" card stock, one pack of Crumb Cake envelopes, one pack of Whisper White envelopes, a trimmer, scissors, Early Espresso Classic Ink (forgot to mention this in the video), and adhesives.
For cards A and B: Cut the right half off of each of your snowflake card bases from the kit, cut 8 pieces of 4"x5.25" Whisper White, and cut (and fold in half) 8 pieces of 11"x4.25" Whisper White.
Make 8 of Card A:
Make 8 of Card B:
For card C: Cut (and fold in half) 16 pieces of 11"x4.25" Crumb Cake and cut 16 pieces of 12" twine.
Make 16 of Card C:
For card D: Cut (and fold in half) 12 pieces of 8.5"x5.5" Crumb Cake and cut 12 pieces of 6" twine.
Make 12 of Card D:
For card E: Cut 11 pieces of 8.5"x5.5" Whisper White, then either fold in half to get the card style shown on the left OR score at 1.5" and 5.75" to build a card like the one shown on the right that will hold a gift card inside.
Make 11 of Card E:
To adhere the letters neatly, put adhesive on the back of the letters before removing them from the tag, place the tag down on the front of the card, and press the letters down while removing them out of the the tag. (You COULD make 12th card, but one of them won't have a rhinestone in the center of the snowflake since you'll need the rest of the rhinestones for the last card.)
For card F and G: Cut (and fold in half) 12 pieces of 8.5"x5.5" Whisper White and cut 12 pieces of 6" twine.
Make 11 of Card F:
Make 1 of Card G:
For card H: Cut 8 pieces of 11"x4.25" Crumb Cake and cut 8 pieces of 12" twine. Then score at 2.25" and 7.75".
Make 8 of Card H:
(The right flap is stuck down, but you could make it so the card opens fully so you can insert a larger photo.)
For card I: Cut (and fold in half) 5 pieces of 8.5"x5.5" Whisper White.
Make 5 of Card I:
And that's how to get 80 cards from one kit!!

Rachel – you’re the most creative person ever! And I love the personality that comes through on the video. This was my first full P.P. kit and I’m thrilled with it. Love your ideas that I can use with some of my “stash” that didn’t come from the kit that will work wonderfully as well. I need help! How is the best way to keep the washi tape stuck down? I ended up having to put glue under every piece to keep it from sticking up. What am I doing wrong? any suggestions to improve the technique? How ’bout a whole video on making washi tape behave and what to do with the extra.
This is absolutely the MOST creative use of negative space I have seen anywhere. Brilliant!! Your ideas are always special but this was just wonderful. You made a terrific kit beyond fabulous for me. THANK YOU for your generous sharing.
So nice to wake up to such a compliment, Linda. Thank you for your kind words.
Thank you so much, Sharon! I am blushing. Have fun creating!
I found this washi tape to be a little less sticky than usual. So I’ve contacted Stampin’ Up! to let them know. (They want our feedback, so be sure to let demonstrators or Stampin’ Up! know when you are concerned with a product.) As far as this roll goes…I found that touching it as little as possible kept it stickier. I wrapped the ends around before folding the gift card holder shut.
I’m hoping you haven’t found this issue with your other rolls of washi tape. I truly think this roll in the kit was unique. Sorry about that, Sharon.
WOW!!!! ok I have to say, YOU amaze me wit your creativity!!!! I have loved what you’ve done with the paper pumpkin kits!!! You really do go out of the box!
thank you for sharing your ideas.

Hi Rachel – I sure hope you submitted these for the contest! You rocked this Paper Pumpkin kit! Thank you for sharing!
Thank you so much, Vicky. So nice of you to leave such a kind comment.
I appreciate the encouragement, Kim. You are so sweet. I’m pulling together some samples for the contest tomorrow. 🙂
Holy WOW!!!!!!!!!
You have definitely NAILED the “thinking outside of the box” concept!!!!
Your projects are absolutely stunning!!!! I am a scrapbooker so am really appreciating the layouts and the PL. The cards can easily be incorporated into a layout idea!!!
Beautifully created!!!!
Trish
Thank you, Trish! Your kind words have made my day. I do a 12×12 layout for every kit and recently added Project Life page pieces. I’m an avid scrapbooker, so if I can build a scrapbook layout with every kit, I am THAT much further ahead when it comes time to go though my photos. 😉
Wow Rachel. You’re amazing !! What a creativity !! Very beautiful !!
Thank you! *Ü*
