Our elf, Fred has been showing up in a new place each morning. The boys LOVE him. Yesterday it was pretty tough to find him, though. He wasn't in plain view anywhere. We didn't notice him until we started making breakfast.
It definitely wasn't a waffles or pancakes morning. Touching Fred would make him lose his magic! So we let him be, and assured ourselves that he would be fine in the fridge since he is used to the weather at the North Pole.
On Wednesday we found him covered with stickers under the tree with a reminder to have good behavior.

The boys have an Elf named Fred in the house. He came to our house the day before Thanksgiving, and has aroused excitement each morning as they can't wait to find his new hiding place.
