There are only a few days left of the current 2021-22 Annual Catalog. And things that are on the Last Chance List will be gone for good come May 3rd when the new 2022-23 Annual Catalog begins.
Two of those items are boxes that are perfect for transporting Random Acts of Kindness (RAK) cards. My cards stay protected in my purse. And when I want to leave a note for someone while I’m out and about, I just pull a card from the box and jot down my thank you.
Below are a few sets of these RAK cards I made with the New Horizons Designer Paper after getting a gift from fellow demonstrator, Leslie Francis. Here is her gift. I love how she recycled and used a plastic chewing gum container for her box.

Obviously I was very inspired by her gift and used the same beautiful papers. I kept the cards super simple like the ones I shared on December 17th though.
Products I used… See below for a complete list of products linked to where you can find them in my online store.
Here is the first set. There are no matching envelopes since I cut these cards to fit into the Sweet Little Boxes box (which I also decorated in a simple way knowing it would be jostled around in my purse). I could make some, but envelopes aren’t really needed sometimes.
The Basic White card bases are 2-1/4″ x 6-1/2″ folded in half at 3-1/4″. The Basic Black layers are 2-1/8″ x 3-1/8″. And the designer paper layers are 2″ x 3″ which means you can get 6 from one 6″ x 6″. All of the papers decorating these cards are from just one sheet in this set. Three are from one side and three are from the design on the other side. Fun, right?

Here is the second set I made. This set of cards paired with mini envelopes is in a 3-1/8″ x 3-1/8″ Acetate Box (one of the Last Chance products) which is decorated only with a bit of Black Glittered Organdy Ribbon (one of the Last Chance products that has sold out already sad to say).
The Basic White card bases are 3″ x 6″ folded in half at 3″. The Basic Black layers are 2″ x 3″. And the designer paper layers are 1-7/8″ x 3″ which means again you can get 6 from one 6″ x 6″. All of the papers decorating these cards are also from just one sheet in this set. Five are from one side and one is from the design on the other side.

With a clear box, the RAK cards inside are the decoration seen on the outside as well.

The sentiments and images stamped in black in these first two sets are from the On the Horizon Stamp Set. But I branched out for the images/sentiments decorating this last RAK card set. For this one I used sentiments from the Happy & Heartfelt set. And the images from both the Grassy Grove and Paradise Palms sets.
I have these Basic White Note Cards/Envelopes protected within a Mini Paper Pumpkin Box (one of the Last Chance products) with no outside decoration. Because again…I intend to carry these cards with me in my purse.
The Basic White card bases are 5″ x 7″ folded in half at 3-1/2″ and they come pre-cut and scored to this size in the note card set. The Basic Black layers are 3-1/8″ x 3-1/8″. And the designer paper layers are 3″ x 3″ which means you can get 4 from one 6″ x 6″. All of the papers decorating these eight cards are from just two sheets.

I hope you were inspired!

My oldest son Nick and his girlfriend Jaylene attended prom last night! Too fun!! Here are a few photos we took at the start of the evening. They had a wonderful time…fun memories made.
