I have lots of card ideas to share today (swaps and gifted cards). But first I thought I’d share a few photos from the trip my son and I took last weekend.

Thank you for all your well wishes of safe travels. Our group of about 50 people (about 35 middle school jazz band kids and the rest teachers and chaperones) had a grand time. We spent the first three days in Disney World which included a performance in Disney Springs (formerly Downtown Disney). They were fantastic!

Who knew piano lessons starting the age of 5 would have led us here! (Nick plays percussion in regular Band but plays the keyboard in Jazz Band.)

I was able to find my chocolate dipped Mickey rice crispy treat (my absolute favorite!!!) in Magic Kingdom. That was the one thing I HAD to do while I was there. So this really made my day.

We rode many rides, ate lots of fun foods, stayed up late, woke up early, walked all day, laughed, and took lots of photos (too may to share here).

I roomed with my friend, Rachel. And our four boys that we were in charge of (shown right to left…my son Nick, her son Parker, their friend Malachi, and my nephew Robbie) all had a blast hopping the four Disney parks in three days time. We kept up with their pace. And I think they appreciated that we had plans and Fast Passes scheduled, because they didn’t seem to want to go off on their own.

After checking out of our hotel on Monday morning, we traveled to Cocoa Beach were we spend most of the day before our flight home. I think this was Nick’s favorite day overall because he could run, play football, swim and do flips on the beach.

A big thanks to those who helped him with his fund raising! ❤️He had raised all but $12 for his portion of the trip, so we really only had to cover my costs. This was a trip of a lifetime for sure. The wonderful memories that were made here will carry with all these kids (and adults) forever.
