Too funny! I pulled out my For the Love of Felt Project Kit a few days ago to make the kit cards. But I couldn’t find the For the Love of Felt stamp set, the set that gives these cards more leaf images. I thought I had bought both the kit and the stamp set at the same time. Hmmm…
So, I got creative and dove into making alternate cards right away. There were quite a few stamp sets in my stash that had great sentiment images, but I decided to use the Butterfly Wishes stamp set. I loved the two fonts, the wording, and the shape and size of the images. Then I gathered up my other tools (my Shaded Spruce stamp pad, Take Your Pick tool, sponge, and adhesives) and started to play.
Here are the cards the kit instructs you to make using the intended For the Love of Felt stamp set which gives the cards more leaf images. (This kit provides enough consumables to make 12 cards: 4 of these 3 kinds.
Here are the three cards I created using the Butterfly Wishes stamp set and the same kit consumables that were allotted for the 3 different ones shown above.
And guess what I found after I made these cards?…my For the Love of Felt stamp set. Yep…I had it after all. ?
I really like the cards I made though. Plus I proved that you don’t need to have the coordinating set.
