Neither of my boys wanted to play baseball this year. I thought at first, "no big deal." But I have to tell ya, I AM REALLY going to miss…

  • how much it took over our evenings and weekends
  • trying to get the stains out of the baseball uniforms and doing laundry 3 times a week
  • worrying about how much the concession stand food will ruin their teeth, appetite for dinner or their health
  • sitting in the stands under an umbrella trying to stay dry and warm
  • packing up and hauling lawn chairs, blankets, coolers, etc to and and from

But I'm especially gonna miss cheering on and watching my boys at bat, at the pitcher's mound, in the outfield, in the dugout, laughing with their friends, and just having fun. Those were some great memories.

I bring this up because I was going through many of my card samples trying to separate out products that are now on the retiring products list (things that will only be available through May 31st unless they sell out), things that are staying, and things that are new. And I found a baseball card that I had made using our Circle Card Thinlits dies. I shared it on my blog on July 14, 2014…almost two years ago.

So I decided to recreate a horizontal version of this card since I needed a few more kid birthday cards in my stash, and I wanted to use my thinlits before they retired and I packed them away. Here is what I came up with.
