I really TRY to make my videos quick and short, but somehow I end up with long ones every time. Sigh. (And I DO edit. LOL) I hope you can forgive me for recording yet another lengthy video tutorial.
In this second in a series of two for the July 2015 Thanks a Latte Paper Pumpkin kit, I am demonstrating some fun 12×12 scrapbook pages and some cute gift ideas…a thoughtful back-to-school teacher gift and some mini warm beverage cups in a carrying case! Watch the video, then scroll down to see close-up photos of these project ideas AND the supply list for the extra products I used to make them.
This is the card the kit shows how to make in the directions…
These are the projects that I demonstrated in the video.
A set of 12×12 scrapbook pages…
A simple but cute back-to-school gift for last year’s teachers…
And a set of four mini coffee cups with carrying case…
I hope you enjoyed these ideas. Be sure to check out my other ideas (including video 1 of 2) that I shared a couple days ago.
SHHHHH! Don’t tell everyone, but…… I saw the August & September Paper Pumpkin kits that are coming soon!!
I love that Stampin’ Up! lets us peek at the upcoming kits when we attend Convention and Leadership events. And this year’s Convention was no exception. Not only did I take a peek at the upcoming kits, but I stopped at this “behind the curtain” booth 3 different times during the Convention because I was so excited about what was coming up (the kits are great!!!), and I wanted to remember as much as I could about them. You will NOT be disappointed. In fact if you stopped your subscription, you will want to start it back up by August 10th. And if you are not a subscriber, you will want to start by August 10th (ESPECIALLY since there is a 50% off special going on right now – see below for more info.).
The August kit is one of the prettiest I’ve seen!! – ombre pink cards with gold accents, “chalkboard” labels with white ink, elegant white boxes with black ribbon, and beautiful stamp images: scrolly designs and 4 beautiful sentiments including one that says with sympathy. And if you’ve wanted a mini white craft (pigment) ink pad, it’s in this kit. 🙂
The September kit is whimsical and fun and includes supplies enough to make 8 box- bottom bags that look like brooms. The handles are straws with a birch bark design on them and the stamp set has a TON of images – 15 in all with lots of words and pictures that are autumn season and holiday related! In fact the stamp set alone is worth the cost of the kit! And for you card lovers, I will guarantee you that I will come up with some card ideas for you when I share my alternate projects.
Just in case you are not a subscriber to Paper Pumpkin yet…Your first two kits are 50% off when you start your NEW subscription by September 10th and use the promo code: HALFOFF.
