Stampin' Up! has some great ribbons, and one of them is our 3/8" Denim Jean Ribbon. It comes 10 yds on a roll for $6.95. Or if you don't need that much, consider purchasing smaller amounts of ribbon though ribbon shares. It's a GREAT way to get a lot of ribbons for less.
Here's a cute pocket card you could make for either a teen birthday card or party invite using this denim ribbon.
This stamp set, Bring on the Cake (wood-mount or clear-mount) has lots of fun birthday greeting images. When I know who I am giving the card to I'll color in the correct numbers.
The jeans are just made from two pieces of denim ribbon stuck together at the top. Then I just folded over and reinforced with a mini silver brad.
The pocket on the front (meant to resemble a pocket on a pair of fancy jeans) is embellished with a strip of Night of Navy card stock that has been die-cut from the edge of the Top Note Bigz die. I sponged Night of Navy ink along the edge and added the rhinestones.
My friend, Grace who sells Vault Denim used this idea for some of her thank you notes to her party hostesses.
