If you've checked out the last two posts, you know that I just returned from a very relaxing yet productive crafting retreat where I spent a long weekend with 17 other wonderful women and cranked out 23 more scrapbook pages for my boys' albums. I shared 4 of those pages in the last two posts, and I hope to share more in the coming days. But for today's post, I'd like to show you what I gave all my retreat attendees for their appreciation/welcome gift.

Inside the cute packaging is a Toblerone chocolate bar. And the color on the packaging of the chocolate bar matches the golden yellow in the Happy Hello Simply Sent card kit that I used to wrap the bar. This Happy Hello Simply Sent card kit is one of our FREE Sale-A-Bration products you can receive now through March 22nd with a minimum $50 order of Stampin' Up!® products.

Here's a photo tutorial of how to make these cute gifts…

Open up the package, remove one of the pre-cut, pre-scored cards, and add two more score lines parallel (one on each side) to the pre-existing one. For the 1.76 oz. size Toblerone bar, your score lines will be 1-3/16" on each side from the pre-existing one.

Next fold your card in half and at your two score lines you just added as shown.

Your bar should fit nicely within. Now secure it by taping your flaps that meet together. I just ran my SNAIL adhesive along the bottom flap and added just a couple of inches of sticky strip in the middle close to the chocolate bar to guarantee that it won't pop open. (Supplies used and links to where you can find them are listed at the bottom of the post.)

This is what it should look like on the bottom.

The Happy Hello card kit comes with self-adhesive die-cut flowers. Because I am popping them up with Dimensionals to give it a fuller flower look, I want to remove the stickiness from the top two layers of my flower. To "remove the stickiness," pounce your embossing buddy on the back. The embossing buddy releases a powder that will stick to the adhesive! Fabulous idea, huh?! (I wish I could remember who taught that idea to me long ago.)

Next trim down your Dimensionals so that you have smaller ones (about a quarter of the size of a full one).

Layer your flowers together and adhere to the front, top, middle of the wrapped bar.

Add a rhinestone embellishment (which ALSO comes in the kit! Yippee!) – use your Paper Snips to scoop it from the acetate backing so that you also lift up the glue dot on the back of it.

Finally tie on the bakers twine (which is included in the kit). You'll notice that some of the cards will come with the word "Hello" already on them. Four of the 8 cards in the kit will. The other four are blank, so I just added my own message from the Happy Hour stamp set with Daffodil Delight ink.

Aren't they gorgeous! I can see these making great Easter gifts, teacher or student gifts, appreciation gifts, May basket gifts, or even a great craft project for a Girl Scout troop.

Hope you enjoyed the photo tutorial. The supplies (including Stampin' Up! products) used are listed below. You may shop online on my website if you'd like to purchase any of them. And remember, with every $50 spent on Stampin' Up! product, you can choose a free Sale-A-Bration product (which could be this great kit)! Let me know if you have any questions or comments.
