I love leaves. So I had to get the Botanical Layers Bundle which includes the stamp set and the coordinating Lovely Layers Vellum. There are four printed designs that come in this vellum pack and then a bunch of plain sheets of vellum. Click here to see the vellum.
All of the vellum sheets are 3-3/4″ x 5″ which is a great size for layering onto 4-1/4″ x 5-1/2″ cards. (Click here to see how I used the plain sheets for the “floating element” look.)
I paired the other four printed vellum sheets with papers from the Design a Daydream Designer Paper Pack to create four other cards. I thought I’d share two of them with you today and the other two in about a week. Here is the first one.

Measurements…
- Mint Macaron Cardstock
- 4-1/4” x 11″ scored parallel to short side at 5-1/2”
- Design a Daydream Designer Paper
- 4” x 5-1/4”
- Basic White Cardstock
- (2) 4-1/8” x 5-3/8” (one goes on the inside)
- 1″ x 3-3/4″
- Scrap for stamping and fussy-cutting leaves
- Lovely Layers Vellum (with layering mountains image)
- 3-3/4″ x 5″
- Soft Succulent Satin Shimmer Ribbon
- 6-1/2″
- Baker’s Twine Essentials Pack – Black
- 6-1/2″
Directions…
- Stamp and cut out the leaves image. Stamp the sentiment strip leaving room for the leaves to go next to the words. Adhere the sentiment strip one inch from the bottom of the Lovely Layers Vellum.
- Add the vellum to the designer paper (adhesive should go on the back where the sentiment strip is). Adhere the Soft Succulent Ribbon and wrap the ends to the back. Tuck in the stem and adhere the leaves to the right side of the sentiment strip.
- Add the designer paper to one of the white layers. Add this to the front of the card base and add the other white layer to the inside.
- Add the twine (tied in a bow) with a Glue Dot. Then embellish with Iridescent Pearls.

- Blackberry Bliss Cardstock
- 4-1/4” x 11″ scored parallel to short side at 5-1/2”
- Design a Daydream Designer Paper
- 4” x 5-1/4”
- Basic White Cardstock
- 4” x 5-1/4” (to go on the inside)
- Scrap for stamping and die-cutting sentiment circle
- Basic Black Cardstock
- Scrap for die-cutting sentiment circle layer
- Lovely Layers Vellum (with circle image)
- 3-3/4″ x 5″
Directions…
- Stamp the sentiment and die-cut with the 2-1/8″ diameter stitched circle. Die-cut the black 2-1/2″ diameter stitched circle. Adhere the circles to the Lovely Layers Vellum (the white one is added with Dimensionals).
- Add the vellum to the designer paper (adhesive should go on the back where the sentiment circles are).
- Add the designer paper to the card base and add the white layer to the inside.
- Then embellish with Iridescent Pearls.
