One of my favorite packs of designer paper that debuted in the 22-23 Annual Catalog is called Pretty Prints. It coordinates well with the Sun Prints Suite. So I paired this pretty paper with the Nature’s Prints Stamp Set from the suite (for the sentiment) and a stitched circle die from the Stylish Shapes dies to make these super easy, yet eye-catching greeting cards.

Measurements for four cards (to make the most of the designer paper)…
- Basic White Thick Cardstock
- (4) 5-1/2” x 8-1/2″ scored parallel to short side at 4-1/4”
- (4) Scrap for stamping and die-cutting sentiment piece
- Pretty Prints Designer Paper
- One of each color from the same section of the designer paper cut initially to 3-5/8” x 4-1/2” then each cut into four equal strips 1-1/8″ x 3-5/8″
- Lovely Layers Vellum (blank design) or Vellum Cardstock
- (4) 3-1/4″ x 5″
Notice that the pattern flows across the papers on each card?
The same designs are repeated throughout this pack of designer paper for each of the four colors. I stacked the same pattern from each of the four color in the same direction on top of each other and then cut them together to get the same 3-5/8” x 4-1/2” identical pieces. Then I cut those four rectangles down to get four strips of each color.
After cutting, I paired the designer paper strips all up so there was one from each color per card as shown below. The 3-1/4″ x 5″ vellum is the perfect base for these strips. After adhering the strips evenly onto the vellum bases, I added them to the card bases with Dimensionals – one under each of the four corners (hidden under the designer paper) for shadow and a “floating element” look.
I die-cut and stamped the sentiment circles, added them with Dimensionals, and then added the “water drop” looking pieces from the Sparkle & Shine Sequins using tiny drops of glue. If you would rather not separate out these “water drop” looking pieces, you could instead just add larger drops of glue and just wait for them to dry. Fine Tip Glue creates lovely “water drops” on its own.
