I haven’t shared since Wednesday! We’ve been busy here finishing up a bathroom remodel and getting plans started for the next project, a remodel of our main level: the kitchen/dining/living area. It’s exciting, but it’s also time-consuming doing all the research and shopping. Here are peeks of the bathroom that hopefully with finish up early this next week.
As you can see, it has a nautical/beach theme. I’ve dreamed of having this for years, so I’m super excited that it’s actually happening!
I have an easel card to share with you today. I made it with products from the retiring Beauty of the Earth Suite.

Measurements
- Basic White Cardstock
- 4-1/4” x 11″ scored parallel to short side at 2-3/4″ and 5-1/2”
- 1/2″ x 3-1/4″
- Beauty of the Earth Designer Paper
- 4” x 5-1/4”
- 3″ x 4″
- 3/4″ x 2-1/4″
- Merry Merlot Cardstock
- Scrap for die-cutting birds
- Misty Moonlight Cardstock
- Scrap for die-cutting birds
- Denim Ribbon
- 2-1/2″
- White Glittered Organdy Ribbon
- 2-1/2″
Directions
- Punch the Basic White strip and the designer paper strip. Stamp the sentiment.
- Trim the ends of the ribbon, then adhere to the designer paper strip.
- Die-cut the birds, and then attach to the designer paper strip. Add the strip to the upper left corner of the 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece of designer paper.
- Add the 3″ x 4″ designer paper to the inside of the card and the 4″ x 5-1/4″ piece to the front. (Attach only the bottom so the card can pop up into an easel when open.)
- Add the sentiment strip to the inside using Dimensionals.
- Add a tiny dot of Wink of Stella to the eyes of the birds.
- Finish off the card by accenting with sequins.
