It’s almost Christmas. So I thought it would be fun to share some festive holiday gift tag ideas today along with some tips on embossing using three different Stampin’ Up! tools: embossing folders, decorative masks, and specific detailed dies.
I just showed live on YouTube about an hour ago step-by-step directions for creating these tags using the Wintery 3D Embossing Folders, Christmas Pinecones Dies, Adorning Designs Decorative Masks, Plenty of Patterns Decorative Masks, and Beautiful Leaves Dies. And now I’m sharing that video here in my blog post. For embossing with the masks: Base Plate #1, Cutting Plate #3, Silicone Sheet, cardstock, mask, Specialty Plate #4
For embossing with the dies (after first die-cutting*): Base Plate #1, Cutting Plate #3, die with cardstock upside-down, Silicone Sheet, Specialty Plate #4
*As shown in the video, I recommend using sticky notes to hold the cardstock to the die AND die-cutting upside-down when using detailed dies.
