I love this sentiment from the Beautiful You Stamp Set! I’ve used it a lot on many cards, scrapbook pages and gifts I’ve made. AND, oh my gosh!…It pairs so well with the boots image from the Country Livin’ Stamp Set. I was trying to figure out how to finish one of my woodgrain stair step cards I started a couple months ago and shared at the end of this video, and these two stamp images were in the same place at the same time. With a hanging lasso made from our Natural Linen Thread and a gold brad “nailed in on the top step,” this card came together beautifully!

If you’ve never seen a stair step fun fold card before, you are in for a treat. There is a little bit of measuring, but if you watch this video where I share a similar stair step card, you’ll be able to make one too.

A super awesome feature of these cards with my measurements?… They fold flat and fit into our medium sized envelopes!

• Soft Suede Cardstock
  • 11” x 4-1/8” scored in from the left and right at 1-3/8”, 2-3/4”, 4-1/8” and 5-1/2” and then in the opposite direction (parallel to the long edge) at 1-3/8” and 2-3/4”
  • 1-3/4″ x 1-5/8″
• Whisper White Thick Cardstock
  • Scrap for stamping and cutting out the boots
• Wood Textures Designer Paper
  • Two pieces that are 1-1/8” x 3-7/8”
  • Two pieces that are 1-1/2” x 2-1/2”
  • Two pieces that are 1-1/2” x 1-1/8”
  • Three pieces that are 1-18″ x 1-1/8″
• Lemon Lime Twist Mini Ruffled Ribbon
  • At least 24″

Then attach the designer paper, the stamped sentiment layer, the boots (with Dimensionals) that have been colored in with Blends Markers, and the lasso (which is just looped, tied in a knot and held in with a brad).

ANNUAL CATALOG NEWS

Due to recent supplier issues (and other factors), Stampin’ Up! will no longer be carrying the current die-cutting machine and trimmer: The Big Shot and Stampin’ Trimmer are retiring. These changes are giving Stampin’ Up! the opportunity to research and explore replacement options. But there will be a gap when we do not have a trimmer or die-cutting machine available.
