My friend and upline, Susan Campfield shared her stunning navy and white Peace on Earth card with those of us in her team a couple weeks ago, and I just HAD to copy it and use it as one of my cards at my Card Addiction class on August 17th.
To save on Glimmer Paper, the set of two trees is die-cut from the 2-3/4" x 3" layer that is underneath the Whisper White "Peace on Earth" layer.
Measurements:
- Whisper White Thick Cardstock: 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" folded in half at 4-1/4"…2-1/2" x 2-3/4"…scrap for stamping and die-cutting deer
- Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper: 2-3/4" x 3" (as a layer and for die-cutting double trees)…scrap for die-cutting single tree
- Night of Navy Cardstock: 3" x 3-1/4"
- Night of Navy Crinkled Seam Binding: about 9"

Here is the inside.
So then during class, my friend Jeannine – after die-cutting the double trees from her 2-3/4" x 3" layer of Glimmer Paper and attaching it to her 3" x 3-1/4" Night of Navy layer – said she thought that it would be really pretty to make her card with these layers "as is." It was a brief moment where we both looked at it and agreed how pretty it would be. But because of time she went ahead and completed her card the same way as my sample.
Towards the end of class, I went over to that table and took all those same pieces and challenged myself to come up with an alternate design so that I could keep the die-cut double trees exposed. And this is what I came up with…
The only difference in the measurements is adding an additional crease in the 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" Whisper White piece! Pretty cool, huh?! The same pieces yet two different designs.
Measurements:
- Whisper White Thick Cardstock: 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" folded in half at 4-1/4" and folded again at 2-1/8"…2-1/2" x 2-3/4"…scrap for stamping and die-cutting deer

Here are the two cards closed side-by-side…
To take it beyond a little bit more, a couple nights ago I came up with yet one other version – changing up the colors.
Measurements:
- Soft Sky Cardstock: 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" folded in half at 4-1/4" and folded again at 2-1/8"…2-1/2" x 2-3/4"…scrap for stamping and die-cutting deer
- Dazzling Diamonds Glimmer Paper: 2-3/4" x 3" (as a layer and for die-cutting double trees)…scrap for die-cutting single tree
- Chocolate Chip Cardstock: 3" x 3-1/4"
- Copper Trim: about 8"
