I love, love, LOVE the new Botanical Builders Framelits! Look at this fun card I designed for my upcoming Stamp-A-Stack event. These framelits when teamed with the Big Shot Machine cut the green leaf and the detailed turquoise & yellow flower pieces.
Dimensionals are a great way to add depth. On this card I added one underneath the flower.
At this Stamp-A-Stack event participants will make 10 cards total – 2 of 5 kinds. I’ve already share two card sets on my blog (the Honeycomb Happiness Chick card and the Just For You Balloon card)…
…and I will share the other two sets in upcoming posts.
There are two versions of this Botanical Builders card, too. 🙂
I love all the detail in the flower. The inner petals can pop out! And I added a touch of shimmer on the yellow center flower piece with another new product in my online store: Wink of Stella. This fabulous tool allows you to just add on a bit of shimmer wherever you want with its super fine-tip brush.

Some of you already know that I am remodeling my craft room/office space. (And I’m almost done! The final touches should be finished by mid February.) So I thought I’d share one of my many favorite spots…my photography shelf. 🙂
I just open the cupboard, set my two lamps inside, and start taking photos – day or night. I can’t tell you how thrilled I am to have this spot. I used to clear my table (my only work space) off, try to position my backdrop foam sheet so it would stay propped up against my tripod, and set up my lamps so the light would focus in just right. My backdrop usually wouldn’t stay in place, so I was continually putting it back in position (and cleaning it off with a lint roller because it collected dust & dirt each time I rolled it up to put it away) and wishing I had even more light. That process used up a lot of valuable time.
My backdrop now stays put and stays clean. The lamps shining in the cupboard seem to produce more light because the light reflects off the sides, top and bottom of my cupboard and stays more contained.
I’m glad you stopped by today.

Great photo “box,” Rachel! Now you have no good excuse/reason for cleaning off your space! 🙂 (Though it looks pretty clean to me… (If you could see my space you would faint.) :0 Better go clean it right now!
LOL! Hope it’s clean (I’m replying 4 days later). Yes, my husband who is a neat-freak is super happy that everything has a place (especially a place that can close up and disappear).
I haven’t seen your room since it’s been done. What I see is very nice. I’m going to have to sell a boat load of SU to pay for the room. My husband doesn’t want to convert it to an office/ craft room because it’s a bedroom in a 4 bedroom house. Like we need another bedroom. I’ll just enjoy everyone else’s remodel!
By mid February it will be complete! I hope. We are putting the final touches in soon. You could sign up to be a demonstrator (unless you are one) and then you could justify needing the craft room. AND it would be a tax write off for business!! 😉
Fabulous – and convenient – photo set up. I love it, and it doesn’t take up the room of light boxes. The card photos are great – nothing to worry about. Keep doing what you are doing. Love your blog.
Thanks Nancy!
