Here's a great masculine card using one of my favorite stamp sets, From My Heart. The colors are earthy and the textures are rough and torn thanks to the designer paper and sponging to add depth.
This message would be great for a birthday card, but I could also see it being used for a retirement card or anniversary card.
I sponged the torn edges of the Island Indigo card stock and the edges of the Sahara Sand center oval with Early Espresso ink (a much darker color) which deepens the perception of depth.
You'll also see in the photo below that I first stamped this center image on the base card stock so that when all the layers were placed on top, the ends of the image peek out on the sides.
The card opens to reveal a fun-fold and another message in a window.
