Happy Valentine's Day everyone!
Thanks to a few past Paper Pumpkin kits (especially last month's), my boys are ready for celebrating Valentine's Day at school! Nicholas has his fruit snack treats all set to go. We used some green ink (mainly Cucumber Crush) and the Cucumber Crush Mini Striped Ribbon to coordinate with the packaging of these fruit snacks.
And Luke has his chocolate heart treats packaged up. Altogether…56 treats done! We used up leftover pieces from a few past kits, so not every treat is exactly the same in each set. But thankfully I had some extra supplies and tools on hand that created a bit of uniformity.
- The Sweetheart Punch with Whisper White cardstock made up for our lack of die-cut hearts from our Adoring Hearts kit.
- The 2×8 Cello Bags took over when we ran out of the small amount of cello bags that we had in our Filled With Love kit.
- The Triple Banner Punch with Whisper White cardstock worked when we ran out of the gold-lined banners in our Adoring Hearts kit.
- And the Triple Banner Punch with the few leftover pretty papers from our Filled With Love kit made up for the lack of Blushing Bride striped vellum banners from our Adoring Hearts kit.
And guess what!? We still have a few pieces left in all these kits to use on something else later! LOL
I have to say, I LOVED that the sequin trim from the Cute Conversations kit coordinated with the Watermelon Wonder ink from the Adoring Hearts kit AND the Reese's heart candies. (It sure makes me happy when I can find candy that matches my supplies!)
