I love getting creative ideas from others. Most of the time, I use those ideas for inspiration to come up with something of my own, but occasionally I love an idea SO much that I copy it (or at least copy what I can with the supplies I have). Today's first project is copied almost completely from an idea I saw on Pinterest from fellow demonstrator, Connie Collins. Isn't this adorable?!
The pumpkin is punch-art – made from punches. In fact this pumpkin is made using only the Small Oval Punch, the Boho Blossoms Punch, and a "tag" scrap from the Pumpkin Pie Goody Gear Kit. I stamped the chevron design on Pumpkin Pie card stock. Then I punched out 3 ovals where the chevron would look symmetrical, sponged the edges, and attached one oval behind each side of the middle oval. The stem is made from the scrap that came from the Crumb Cake tag in the Pumpkin Goodie Gear Kit. And the leaves are from the medium size flower on the Boho Blossoms Punch.

Washi Tape is easy to decorate with! On this clothes pin I used the Witches' Brew Designer Washi Tape.
Here is a very simple, yet adorable greeting card that could work for a welcome baby, baby shower, baby birthday, Halloween or Thanksgiving card. I stamped the swirls on the base Whisper White card stock first. Then I punched out 3 circles using the 1-3/4" Circle Punch. I sponged the edges of these Pumpkin Pie circles using Pumpkin Pie ink. Then layered them to form the pumpkin. The stem is a piece of Always Artichoke card stock punched with the Mosiac Punch.

I thought I'd also share with you photos from our past Halloweens so you can see what we've done with our REAL pumpkins.
Below is Halloween 2011. (Luke is the skeleton. He LOVES being a skeleton and is one again this year. Nicholas is the Storm Trooper.) I had lots of pumpkins in many colors that year because my sister-in-law gave us a bunch of pumpkins and décor from my niece's wedding that fall. (Lucky Us!)
This next photo is from Halloween 2012. Nick is Mario and Luke is Luigi. Don't you love the pumpkin eating the pumpkin!? He lost an eyeball. Serves him right, that cannibal.
And here are this year's pumpkins. Boo!
