I shared how to make a Center of Attention fun fold card during my live on Wednesday. Visit that 2/8/23 post to see photos of that card and watch a how-to video for tips on preparing the cardstock and papers, putting the card together, and ways to fold it shut so it fits in an envelope. I also showed a couple more versions of the card during that live.
Here is the cute bunny card.

Products I used… See below for a complete list of products linked to where you can find them in my online store.
Measurements…
- Soft Sea Foam Cardstock
- 5-1/2” x 8” scored parallel to the short side at 2” and 6” and then scored and cut further according to the directions in the video from Wednesday
- Day at the Farm Designer Paper
- vegetable pattern – (2) 1-7/8” x 5-3/8”
- plaid pattern – (2) 1-7/8” x 5-3/8”
- Garden Green Cardstock
- (4) 1-1/8″ x 1-7/8”
- Basic Gray Cardstock
- (2) 7/8” x 2-7/8”
- Basic White Cardstock
- 1-7/8″ x 2-7/8″
- Scraps for stamping and cutting out the bunny and carrot
Tips…
- Mask by putting removable tape or a Post It® note on the word Easter. Ink up the word Happy. Pull off the mask and stamp Happy onto your cardstock strip. Clean your stamp thoroughly. Then mask the work Happy to stamp the word Easter.
- Fussy cut the bunny and the carrot, color, then snip just around the bunny’s right arm and tuck the carrot underneath.
- Use glue to adhere the sequins.
This was one of the make-n-takes we made at the Silver Elite Retreat. Cheryl is working on her card in this photo.

My mother made two and wanted her second one to look different since she was making them for my two nieces who are sisters. This was the second one she made. We pulled out the Dainty Flowers paper for this card. And we used the other bunny image in the set. It’s a super fun variation.

Here is the view on the back side. The white paper indicates where you would write a message and sign the card.

BTW…This is the pattern for the cards I’m sharing today (and the one I shared on Wednesday).

With these cuts and scores for your card base, you can fold the card closed to put it into the envelope in a couple different ways…

This was another pattern I pulled out during the live. The base measures the same: 5-1/2″ x 8″. It’s a little more complicated to cut and score. But it will give you a wider (3″ rather than 2″) surface for your middle image.

But can fold flat with the top and bottom pinched and flattened to the sides. But it will not flatten by folding the side flaps over.

This was another pattern I pulled out during the live. I said it wouldn’t work, but I spaced when I was recording live and gave incorrect information. Yes indeed…it will work. This one begins from a 5-1/2″ x 8-1/2″ base, but the measurements get more complicated.

It also can only fold flat with the top and bottom pinched and flattened to the side. The sections will stick out a bit, but the card will still fit into the same size envelope. And it will however flatten by folding the side flaps over, but in this way it’s too wide for the envelope. AND it doesn’t really give you a larger surface area for putting your middle image.

This is the other card I wanted to share with you. I love it, but it takes two Sale-a-Bration items in order to make it: the Day at the Farm Designer Paper and the Thanks a Bunch Stamp Set (both of which are only available to earn with a qualifying purchase through the end of February).

My youngest, Luke turned 16 on Tuesday. So he has friends coming over tonight for pizza, ice cream cake, movies, and a sleepover. Plus he’s attending a school dance on Saturday evening. I’ll try to post a couple photos.
I have an adorable birthday card to share with you in a few days. It’s not the one I made for Luke, but it’s using one of my favorite new sets that I just started creating with. Hope you visit back!*
