Summer is approaching and we are experiencing comfortable outdoor weather here in Minnesota. So I had the urge to pull out my Hey Sports Fan Designer Paper and Resin Stars and challenge myself to see if I could create a card using only those two products and some base cardstock. I don’t own the coordinating stamp set or dies from that suite. Here is what I came up with.

Measurements…
- Poppy Parade Cardstock
- 5-1/2” x 12″ scored parallel to short side at 2-1/2”, 6-3/4″ and 9-3/8″
- Hey Sports Fan Designer Paper (starburst design)
- 5-1/4” x 11-3/8”
- Hey Sports Fan Designer Paper (blue wood design)
- 2-1/4” x 5-1/4”
- Hey Sports Fan Designer Paper (tickets, flags, and pennants)
- a few of these images cut with scissors or with the help of the Sports Events Dies
Directions…
- Cut the starburst designer paper into 4 sections: Start from the left side and cut 2-5/16″ in. Then with what is remaining cut 4-1/8″ and again at 2-1/2.” This should leave you with your 4th piece 2-7/16″ wide. Fold the card base as shown in the photos. And add these pieces in order to these panels.
- Fold the card shut and add the blue wood design layer.
- Color a few rhinestones with the Blends markers.
- Add the cut out the tickets, flags, and pennants.
- Embellish with the stars and rhinestones.

Quite a coincidence that you posted this card today. Just yesterday I pulled out my May 2021 Paper Pumpkin – Batter Up – and started playing with it. I rewatched your YouTube video showing alternate cards, and plan to make the pull-out pop-up card today!
Guess we both had baseball on our minds. Hahaha!
