Welcome to our All Star Tutorial monthly blog hop for the Ice Cream Corner Suite!
I’m pretty passionate about most of Stampin’ Up!’s designer papers. And that’s how I feel about the Ice Cream Corner pack. The images and colors are rich, cheerful and fun. Three of the designs in particular really have been really fun to play with because they were created for the coordinating Ice Cream Builder punch.
After punching several ice cream scoops from these sheets, and then experiencing a bit of loss from seeing wasted space between the areas made for punching, I decided to make some of my own designer paper with Blending Brushes, inks, and water. I punched my scoops and made a card to share with you. Actually, I made a few variations of this card to show a few options.
A few hours ago I shared live on YouTube step-by-step directions for making this special paper and the details for making all the card variations. I messed up a bit while recording that live. And afterwards I re-recorded. So you can either watch the long one with all the mistake, the short one which is much more efficient and covers things I forgot to share in the live, or both so you can get your fill of me! hahaha Watch the first video by clicking here or watch “take two” by clicking here (or you can just click on either of these images below if you are already on my blog post). Then scroll through the close-up photos that follow, check out the measurements & products list below, and then let me know if you have any questions.
Video one – the LIVE one…
Video two – the re-recorded one with less mistakes…
I hope you enjoyed what I shared. Below are measurements, close-up photos, and a product list for what I demonstrated. (Please subscribe to my YouTube channel so you can get updates when I share and go live).

Thanks Wendy!
I really like the way you stamped the “grid marks” on the cone twice. It looks a lot more realistic. I’m going to do that from now on!
😊
And congratulations on reaching your Million Seller Achievement! Looking forward to seeing your stamp set.
Aww…thanks so much Charlotte!
