I’m excited to share with you these fantastic creations made by Vy Tran, our August 2020 Stampers With ART Showcase Stamper! Vy is still fairly new to our team but has blown us away with the creative ideas she posts in our demonstrator group each month.

I gifted Vy the Posted for You Stamp Set and coordinating Rectangular Postage Stamp Punch so she could in turn create and share for us!

I love what Vy has created! Here are her projects – a box and 8 cards. I also included a bit of Vy’s information that she shared under the photos. Enjoy!

To create square postage stamps or smaller rectangles, start with punching out a shape as usual. Temporarily adhere the postage stamp onto a larger scrap of paper and put it back into the punch. Choose the size you want, and align the small scallops before punching again.

To coordinate with the postage stamp punch, use the scalloped die from the Peony set to cut the *outside* of a rectangle to create a large postage stamp border. Line the edge of your shape just under the divots between the scallops. If you accidentally cut too much and the peaks look pointy, simply trim them down.

The image for this panel was stamped onto watercolor paper and painted with Stampin’ Write markers and water painters.

This trifold card uses a window sheet opening created with the postage stamp punch. Use StazOn ink to stamp over the window sheet.
