Paper Pumpkin monthly kits of creativity started in March of 2013. I’ve been a subscriber AND created and shared alternate project ideas with these kits since the beginning. For those of you who are already active subscribers, wasn’t the February kit amazing?! I loved creating alternates with this kit. I hope you were able to check out the three I shared on February 28 and the seven I shared on March 3.

Today I have one more card idea (two versions of it) to share. I made multiples of it and sent it to a few of my subscribers. That embossing on the vellum is so stunning!

Measurements of extra products:

• Early Espresso Cardstock:
  • 4-1/4″ x 11″ scored at 5-1/2″ and folded in half for the card base
  • 2-1/8″ x 5″
• Poppy Parade or Lemon Lime Twist Cardstock:
  • 2″ x 4-7/8″
• Whisper White Cardstock:
  • 3-1/2″ x 4-3/4″

• Photo image piece:
  • 1-7/8″ x 4-3/4″
• Vellum:
  • 2″ x 4-3/4″
• White Twine:
  • 18″

Tips: To attach the vellum to the card, run SNAIL Adhesive along the edge being covered up by the photo image layer. As you can see this adhesive shows through. So keep that in mind when adding the vellum. The twine helps to hold the vellum in place, too.

I love how the embossed areas on the vellum turn white! It’s so pretty.

Feel free to cut your photopolymer stamps to give you more flexibility. I cut the row of four flowers down to two images: a row of three flowers and a single one. I love stamping that small one with the other larger flower image from this stamp set.

I didn’t have much twine left in my kit. So I used Whisper White Baker’s Twine instead. I also ran low on the embellishments in the kit. So I added rhinestones for the bling on these cards.
