Yesterday was my boys' first day of school for the 2017-18 school year.
Luke is a big 5th grader now – among to oldest in his elementary school. How did my baby get that big!?
And Nick is now a 6th grader – in his first year of middle school and loving it. With his new hairstyle, he is looking like a teenager already. My goodness!
Here they are waiting at their bus stops. Not too many other kids at the stops today, but Luke's group will grow. We just didn't have everyone here today.
And then to be silly, the boys posed together this morning and tried to duplicate how they posed 5 years ago in this picture of them when Luke was just starting kindergarten.
Soooo many memories to get into my scrapbooks!
Scrapbooking!?! Sigh
Okay…Are you are feeling behind like me?…had lots of fun this summer, but now that the kids are in school and the weather is getting cooler, you're realizing you have to get those memories into the books before you forget about them.
It's time to pull out the Memories and More kits and those pocket pages. I'm serious, too! This is one of THE quickest ways for hands-on paper crafters to get those pages done. And unlike the flat digital books, you can still embellish, hand-write your journaling, and include memorabilia too.
Here are some super quick, yet cute pages I put together the other day with the Color Theory Card Pack. No photos in them yet, but if I need to, I can rearrange where the Color Theory cards go since they are just slipped into pockets (no adhesive).
This pack has many year-round images. So you could scrap a whole year's worth of photos just with this one pack. Here is a Summer layout…
This one is for Autumn…
A Winter layout…
And this one is for Spring…
This pack includes double-sided cards, stickers and overlays.
And because Stampin' Up! is all about coordination, you can then get other products to enhance Memories & More packs – stamp sets, dies, matching ribbons & embellishments, coordinating inks, cardstock and designer paper, etc… Here are the products I used to make my pages. Not all of them are necessary, but it's fun to see the options.

Oh! If you saw Monday's post, I have to tell you… My nephew, Jake took me up on the challenge and DID eat the lemon. (Crazy kid.)
