I love offering product shares when new catalogs come out. I get to see and touch all the new ribbons, papers, embellishments and "doo-dads" right away. And of course I participate in my own shares so that I get to keep a little of everything as well!
For this new 2017-18 Annual Catalog I placed my order for all the shares right away on June 1st, but I expedited it. Yep, I forked over some extra dollars to get the products to me as fast as possible. Because THIS year I HAD to get the shares ordered, cut, wrapped, sorted, packaged and shipped ASAP. (Our family is going on a big two-week road trip!)
Wrapping ribbons takes some time, but thankfully I had some friends & family that came on Monday and Tuesday to help me. Bless their hearts. Plus, my assistant Patty took some ribbons home with her on Monday night. (She put in almost 12 hours of ribbon-wrapping in those two days!!)

It's amazing to see how fast the shares got packaged in just a few days time. The photo above shows where I was at on Saturday night – working on putting together one of the embellishment shares and just a couple sets of ribbons cut. The photo below shows every share packaged on Tuesday afternoon.

I love that Stampin' Up! is once again carrying Sizzix Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets.
To make the raised words on each card I attached a sheet of Wood Texture designer paper to a piece of black foam using the Sizzix Adhesive Sheets. Then I backed that with another sheet of adhesive. I left the backing on that second layer of adhesive and ran it through the Big Shot to die-cut it.
When I was ready to attach it to the card, I just peeled off the backing. Not sure if you could tell, but I was trying to duplicate the look of the Touches of Nature Elements (the wooden flowers and leaves). 😉
This was my front porch yesterday afternoon. All the shares where ready for my fabulous postman Joe to pick up.
I'm so happy this task is done and even more happy that my customers are getting their product so fast this time!
