Okay, I went a little crazy. I was only going to create about 3-4 cards, but the ideas kept coming!
For those of you who haven't seen my recent blog post shares, I have been sharing alternate project ideas with the Tin of Tags Christmas tag kit from the Holiday Catalog.
This kit (along with some added adhesives, the Tin of Tags stamp set, and 4 ink pads) creates 30 beautiful gift tags to put on your gifts this upcoming holiday season.
I made one full set of 10 tags with my own kit and then I decided to get creative with the rest of the supplies. Last Wednesday I shared a 12×12 scrapbook page. And on Friday I shared a couple other 3-D gift packaging project ideas. Today I am sharing with you TEN notecards that are NOT Christmas themed. The ones with the snowflakes COULD be used at Christmas time, but could also be given as birthday cards to those "winter babies" in your life. So this tag stamp set and kit as you will see do NOT need to just be used during the Christmas holiday. Yay! I love it when we can get more bang for our buck!
The supplies I used were…
And here are my 10 cards!
(Use some twine to attach the tassel to the tag, then secure with a couple Glue Dots.)
(The oval tag AND the bow accent are on Dimensionals.)
(The knot of the twine is behind this tag layer.)
(Be very careful with this snowflake accent! It can break easily. I attached it to the card with Fine Tip Glue.)
(I stamped some ink off onto scrap paper before stamping the large snowflakes.)
(I looped the washi tape through the loop of the tassel and then secured it to the card with a Glue Dot.)

Thanks for all the fun alternate ideas!
This is a great idea! Such a cute set of cards! I think my favorite is the snowflake “Surprise” card. I love your alternate project ideas to give people a chance to think outside the box (or tin)!
Great ideas. I’ve resisted this kit up til now, but…( sigh)… maybe no more.
You’re so welcome. 🙂
This is a stamp set and kit that I wish Stampin’ Up! would hang on to. It is one of my favorites, and I want to keep sharing it! Thank you for your kind comment Natalie. 🙂
Hahaha…I felt that way until someone showed me how fabulous it was in person. And then I haven’t been able to get enough of it! I’ve actually saved 10 of the tags (one of each) so that my boys can help make them for Christmas gifts this year.
I had to make sure to leave a comment to tell you how much I love the cards you created with these tags! I tried turning my tags into cards and was having a mental block. Yours are so inspired and beautiful. Thanks for sharing them. 🙂
Thanks Jennifer. I appreciate you taking the time to leave me such a kind compliment!
