I decided to pull out my washi tape and see what card designs I could come up with using only one stamp set, very little cardstock (no layers), and some rhinestone accents. I came up with 3 card designs to share with you today. All card base pieces are 8-1/2" x 5-1/2" folded in half.
I used the Cherry On Top Washi Tape for this simple Congratulations card. For this one I put on the blue tape first. Then knowing about how much space I would need for the sentiment, I put on the striped tape next so it was perpendicular to the blue. So… I taped before I stamped.

For this second card I stamped FIRST. Then I added the Everyday Chic (and a bit of Cherry On Top) Washi Tape.

I DID add a little extra cardstock – two punched out flowers (the green one cut in half to act as the leaves) – to this card.
And I thought it would be helpful to share with you this photo of how I applied the tape. I LOVE Grid Paper. I didn't add it to the product lists for any of the cards, but you can CLICK HERE to find it in my online store.
And here is the last of the 3 card designs – another super simple one.

After adding the tape…
…I stamped the last half of sentiment to the far right. Then I stamped the word, "happy." And lastly I added the flower.
For the thin line bordering the edges, I just used a ruler and the Bermuda Bay marker.
Thanks for visiting today. I'm hoping I gave you a few fun ways to use washi tape.
I collect washi tape and then struggle to use it. I think you may have just inspired me, especially the oh- so-easy last card!
Love it! I don’t use mine enough either. So there…we both can crank out some cards now and use it up.
