I'm often get creative ideas at the last minute. These baskets were one of those "last minute" ideas I had for one of my demonstrator events this month. I was all ready, and then I got it in my head to make just ONE MORE gift for everyone attending. Hahaha…I was still making them as everyone started arriving, but they were glad to have the extra gift. And they were VERY glad when I showed them how super easy these were to make.
These easy to assemble baskets don't have difficult measurements either. If you have a square piece of cardstock that you can divide into nine equal sections, you can make this style basket. Gosh! A 12×12 piece of cardstock would work, too.
The squares that made each of these baskets are a bit smaller, though. And the unfinished ones are all different sizes by three quarters of an inch.
Check out the measurements on the patterns below.
Are you interested in making some "last minute" baskets for Easter? Anyone can make these!
Here is the video tutorial that includes directions for similar baskets I made with last month's Paper Pumpkin kit supplies. (Click here to see close-up photos of them.)
(Totally off topic, but my new craft room is going to be featured in Stamp-N-Storage's Spring catalog!!! I just had to share since you can see it above. I'm giddy about it!!!)
Do you want to know what products I used for my brown and green baskets? The supplies are listed below.
My boys have today off making this a 3-day weekend for them. I think we will get started on our Easter eggs and cookies. For sure we are going to assemble and decorate Easter gingerbread houses. I'll have to remember to take photos and share them with you!
