Pink blossoms make me think spring! It won't be coming too soon here in Minnesota, though. But a girl can dream.
The measurements of all the card stock & paper pieces are…
- Pink Pirouette: 4-1/4" x 5-1/2"
- Pink Pirouette: 3-5/8" x 8-1/2" folded in half at 4-1/4"
- Sahara Sand: 4" x 5-1/4"
- Sahara Sand: 3-3/8" x 4"
- Whisper White: 3-1/8" x 3-3/4"
- Whisper White: 3" x 1/2"
- Something Borrowed: 2" x 4"
The card base was formed with the two pieces of Pink Pirouette card stock adhered together. And all of the supplies I used to make this card are listed below with links to my online store.
I just LOVE this card! I curled the banner before attaching it to the front. A Dimensional is underneath the raised part of the banner to help it stay lifted, and the button was added with a glue dot.
Even the inside is pretty!
Putting pink blossoms on the tree was an idea that I got from a swap card from fellow demonstrator, Lisa Pretto. Thanks, Lisa!
We had a fun event this Saturday. Demonstrators in our group got together to share techniques and new products. Our customers came to see all the fun demonstrations and ideas on display. Lots of people took part and had a great time!
My demonstration was all about Paper Pumpkin kits (of course!).
There were make-n-takes for those customers that placed orders,…
…and so much to see and learn!
Lori Nelson (shown below), who has been with me for 13 years came all the way from Sturgeon Bay, Wisconsin to share her favorite tips and ideas for getting a "grunge" look.. What fun to watch! She did an excellent job demonstrating, and her samples were fabulous. (I'll be featuring her cards later this week in a separate post, so be sure to stop back and visit.)
Cheryl Lee (below) has been on my team for 7-1/2 years. She has clubs and holds other monthly events. And her beautiful cards draw in the crowds! This is very evident with how well she does in her sales. Cheryl's demonstration for this event was of the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits from the Occasions catalog.
My upline, Susan Campfield shared a couple fun, new kits – Hello Life & Hooray It's Your Day. And of course, now I have to put together the Hooray It's Your Day card kit (a free gift that I got at the Leadership Conference last month). Those cards are beautiful!
Denise Henke shared the "kissing technique"…too perfect for Valentine's Day, wouldn't you say? She's been demonstrating for a year and a half, holds classes & events, and her enthusiasm is contagious. I LOVE watching her share. Attendees got to try out this technique and take a sample home, too.
There were many more fabulous demonstrators that helped. Thank you to everyone who made this event a huge success!! (I've posted more photos on my Facebook Page.) And thank you to our guests that attended!!!
I love being a demonstrator! Click here to learn more about our Stampers With Art community of stampers. Get the Starter Kit and join Stampin' Up! today, and you can choose either 2 Sale-A-Bration items OR a kit from the Occasions Catalog as a free bonus gift. How fun is that!? (This special is good through the end of March.)
