I just shared this card as my cover photo for my Facebook Business Page. This card is made with a few upcoming Occasions Catalog and Sale-A-Bration brochure products that will become available… starting tomorrow! And the stamp set that makes that great "just for you" image is a free one that you can earn with a $50+ order.
To make this card I used…
If you add up the cost of these items, it's just over $60 worth of product. During Sale-a-Bration (January 5th-March 31st), you get to choose a free Sale-A-Bration pick (the Botanicals For You stamp set is the free Sale-A-Bration pick here) with each $50 worth of merchandise ordered. LOVE IT! This is the best time of year to get free products.
Here are some helpful measurements and tips to help you recreate this card.
Measurements:
- Whisper White thick card stock – 11" x 4-1/4" (folded in half at 5-1/2") and 4-1/4" x 2-3/4"
- Basic Black card stock – 5-1/4" x 4"
- Red Foil Sheet – 4-1/4" x 1/2" and at least a 1-1/2" x 2" scrap to punch out the larger balloon
- Dazzling Details Glimmer paper – at least a 1-1/4" x 1-3/4" scrap to punch out the smaller balloon
- Silver Metallic Baker's Twine – two pieces that are about 5"
Tips:
- Punch out the balloons and adhere them together.
- Separate the silver threads from the twine and attach them each to a balloon. A Dimensional at the base of each balloon should hold the thread in place.
- After embossing and attaching the Basic Black cardstock to the front of the card, add the balloons and then put SNAIL adhesive down and position the balloon strings where you want them.
- Then stamp the words onto the smaller Whisper White, add the strip of red foil, and add to the entire layer onto the front of the card using more Dimensionals.
