I just returned from Stampin’ Up!’s Houston OnStage 2024 convention on Sunday afternoon. It was a fun-filled past several days. My mind was swimming and racing so much that I didn’t get a lot sleep – about 4-5 hours each night. So I took these past two days to rest, unpack, and catch up. And now that I’m feeling refreshed and have organized all my take-home goodies, photos, and thoughts, I’m ready to share! Yay!!
This early morning’s post is to give a teaser that I have the new 2024-25 Annual Catalog in my hands…
…and announce the products that will be retiring from the current publications.

This post is also a chance for me to share a few photos (well, maybe several) from Stampin’ Up!’s OnStage 2024 that I just attended in Houston, Texas.
This year’s OnStage was actually held in three locations to accommodate demonstrators throughout the world…Rotterdam, Netherlands, Melbourne, Australia, and Houston, Texas in the USA (where I was). Our CEO, Sara Douglass couldn’t be in three places at once and had to choose. She attended and presented at the Melbourne event, but she showed up for us in Houston with a recorded presentation.
We had others on the SU Corporate team (Ken Dinkel, Jill Taylor & Scott Nielsen)…
…and from the Demonstrator Development Managers team (Shannon West & Natalie White) presenting and here with us in person, though. And they did a fantastic job! It was an amazing event.
Natalie even demonstrated with my stamp set, Layering Leaves! What an honor that was!
We were also blessed with the talents of several fellow demonstrators who presented new products up on stage. Here are ;’
photos I took of just some of the great creative cards and projects shared in the presentations.
Check out the new sets, new colors, new tools, new embellishments, etc!
It’s fun to see sneak peeks of the new stuff, right? We were given lots of goodies when we checked in (I’ll be sharing those items in my video later today) AND during the event itself through the all-attendee give-aways and through prize patrol.
This is a photo of Brandi and I after we swapped out our prizes from prize patrol.
Speaking of swapping, this photo is from the organized card swap we did with team members. It’s very popular to make & bring cards (or projects) to swap at Stampin’ Up! events. I brought 10 cards for this organized swap and 80 other cards to casually swap out.
Out in the lobby where we were swapping, there were several display boards. I didn’t get a chance to take photos of all of them. But here are photos of some of the displays featuring what was demonstrated during the OnStage presentations.
In another large area of the convention center, there were product displays, informational boards, activities, videos, and more. This display showed off several of the new designer papers.
And this one we are standing in front of featured new colorful ribbons. Colleen, Tricia, Brandi and I are obviously having a great time in this “product playgound.”
This was a fun activity. Demonstrators were invited to share their creative color combinations.
This area (modeled by Kristie) featured some new “mix & match” products as an interactive magnetic build-a-card activity.
We also took turns posing in front of this big board…
…to become “crafting essential” #10.
This sign all came together during the days of the event with the help of many who filled in the color with sticky notes. It was fun to watch all the progress lead to this end result.
We also had break-out classes throughout the event. I was on the escalator looking down below when I took this photo of many fellow leader demonstrators on their way to special class focusing on some upcoming changes (stay tuned in the coming months).
Vy and I ended up sitting near all these amazing people.
This lounging room with beverages, treats, and comfy furniture was a special bonus for demonstrators with titles of Silver Elite or higher. We could come here to eat, relax, and visit.
And at all in person OnStage/convention events we also get ribbons to wear on our lanyards to display our accomplishments. This is a photo of me with my roommate, dear friend, and upline Susan Campfield. I signed up under her to get the demonstrator starter kit 24+ years ago. Time flies!
I had a great 2022-23 Stampin’ Up! year. I shared my rankings when I posted in November right after our last OnStage (which was held online). But it was at this event in Houston when all of us achievers were able to walk across stage to be recognized and congratulated.
Here are photos from a few other significant stage walks.
- Shelli Gardner, the co-founder of the company with three demonstrators who have been with the company for 35+ years
- Vy Tran, my team member who promoted to Silver Elite
- Tricia Josephs, my team member who reached her 20-year milestone
So amazing!
Susan and I stayed at the Mariott Marquis, one of the hotels right across the street from the convention center. Check out the fun Texas shaped lazy river pool we could see from our window on the 25th floor. Luckily we found time to enjoy this pool and the hot tub the day before the convention started.
I was blessed to have 25 team members with me in Houston. And I made sure to spend time with each of them. Meals were a great way to do that.
Judy who lives near Houston picked up Susan and I at the airport on Tuesday and treated us to a lunch at the Taste of Texas before bringing us to our hotel.
Vy who also lives in a suburb of Houston brought us to Bistro Menil on Wednesday and treated us to a lovely lunch.
I hung out and had dinner with Brandi, Colleen, Tricia, Rose, Lisa and Kristie on Wednesday night.
On Thursday night I had dinner with Robyn, Sheila, and Vy. We ate at The Rustic.
I spent Friday’s lunchtime with Mariacristina, Laura, Erin (a friend of Laura’s), Colleen, Lailoni, Michelle, and two other demonstrators (I forgot to write down their names).
Friday night several of us Ubered in the pouring rain to get to Maggiano’s for some pasta. From left to right are Nancy, Vicki, Teri, Holly, Marciene, Cheryl, Kayla and me.
I ate lunch with Suzanne, Candace and Pal Myra on Saturday. We missed Maria because she had to leave for her flight home.
And on Saturday night Susan and I hosted a large team event at the Hampton hotel. My team and my sister demonstrators in Susan’s group were in attendance. We had tacos for dinner, put together two make-n-take cards, played games, and took lots of photos.
A few who flew home early couldn’t make it. But we still had a pretty good turn out…35 of us are in the photo below.
It was VERY hard to say our good-byes. What a fabulous time we had together in our days in Houston.
Updated 3/22/24 and added later…
Here are photos of the gifts and goodies I received from Stampin’ Up at the event. We are spoiled!
I also received a few extras for my achievements.
(I included the Kennith Cole pebbled computer tote and JBL speaker, too, since these were also gifted to me for the same achievements.)

It was so much fun to see all your pics. So many demonstrators! Looks like you all had a great time.
Such a fabulous time! Thanks Debby.
I had no idea Susan was your upline. I have enjoyed watching Susan’s videos and follow in her card creations also. My Upline quit, which was a co-worker which went in under the Demonstrator that I originally found when looking for a good Cutting Board in 2016.
👍🏼
Rachael,
Looks like it was quite an amazing event!
I have been following your YouTube videos for years and I enjoy the alternative art you create with the
Stampin’ Up products.
I would like to order some of the Last Chance items when the sale begins on April 09th.
Do you have a Code I can add to the Order Form so you can have the credit for my personal purchases, please?
Cheers for now
Thanks so much!
